C1 Squire Info & Crystal Mines Hidden Map

Here’s a quick summary of the review:

  • All shop skills (Repair, Weapon, and Armor Maintenance) requires items to use.
  • You can’t have multiple shops open at the same time.
  • You can set up shop anywhere.
  • Multiple people can use the services at the same time. No waiting in line!
  • Mobs do not aggro you when you open up shop. If you are already being chased by them, you’ll lose aggro once you open up shop, but they will aggro you again the moment you close it. I currently do not know what happens if you get hit with the shop open.
  • I didn’t test Arrest yet, so please do not ask me about it.
  • If you want to keep yourself from knowing about the hidden maps, simply stop reading after you see the screenshot of what the Squire Master sells.

Hopefully this helps out our fellow Squires-to-be out there.

Awesome review. Just one question. When opening up a shop as a Squire does it say what level your skill as at? It doesn’t seem to show in any of your screen shots.

Currently, your skill level is not shown when opening up a shop. That’s why most people in the Korean server write it down in their shop name.

Hopefully they change this. So no one gets tricked.

Yeah, I agree that it would be easier if you could see the skill level. You can still guess what it is by looking at the expected result before buying the service.

Lol, am I the only one who thinks it’s kinda funny that setting up shop breaks aggro?

“Oh damn guys, he’s setting up shop…let’s attack someone else…”

im just curious how did you solo played a squire?

Using every other class before you got to squire  It’s not like you’re a useless class once you pick squire.

i see… thanks

I chose C3 Highlander for some really good DPS so that I can hold on my own

Umm, given the way the bonus from Squire work, I’m guessing the amount of tools required = stars on the equipment used.
For example that chest with 5 stars = 5 kits.

That, in particular looks terribly stupid and abusable xD

I don’t think it’s good, how in the world would you need to open a shop when chased by people trying to kill you xD

I saw you mention INT for a modifier for hit counts, how important does that seem?

For weapon - worthless.

Armor - ‘eh’

You get so many hit counts on weapon repair that it’s already hard to go through all the charges as is, armor is still about 800? So it’s sorta possible to run out of charges, but you’re better off just repair them again instead of wasting stat in Int for that.

is it good just to put a base camp 1? im going to squire next iCBT and i need some advice

Sweet - Squire was one of the later tier classes i’d had an eye on.

Just that i’ll also have my eyes on anyone using my services. (or playing the fake shop that closes as soon as somebody approaches)

Depends on how long you want to play per session.

It has 90 minutes duration at lv 1 and 6 hours CD at all level (lv 10 will make it lasts 6 hours, at lv 5 you can have 3.5 hours only)

If you finish your play for the day within that 90 minutes and take a break for 6 hours (or switch character) then lv 1 is fine,

But in case you’re in party with other people (given that shops remain open even if you switch character/logoff, this should work) they might still want to use your camps even if you go offline.

Personally, if I make Squire C2 I plan to max Weapon maint (gotta have that damage), Camp and Food table, (20 points) and split the rest between Arrest (at least 1 point for boss, 2-3 if I’m worried about other things getting hit instead) and Repair (because this applies to all equipments)

so, i should max base camp and food… how about the weapon and armor maintenance? should i get it only at lvl 5?

I would say that you shouldn’t. People will always be looking for the Squire with the highest skill level. I know I wouldn’t hand over my weapon to a Squire with a Lv 5 Weapon Maintenance when there’s another Squire with Lv 15 Weapon Maintenance nearby. This goes for Armor Maintenance and Repair too. You either max them or don’t get them at all.
