🚌 SERVER TRANSFER that is the question 🚌

SERVER TRANSFER that is the question

from how i understand IMC the Founders servers is its own separate server from the F2P ones in June. That would mean the bulk of the players will be in those F2P servers.

the last time I ask @STAFF_John about server transfer months ago somewhere in the forum. he said IMC will not allow server transfers. This would mean those founder servers are going to be ghost towns by June when the F2P servers launch.

unless those founder server becomes a premium server with added benefits.

if they do allow server transfers there will be a huge imbalance of ecomony and power as the founder servers players are already max level(unless there is a level cap) and top gear equipment with 3 months of gameplay.

What is the F2P vs Founder community opinion on server transfers?

Transfer is like the worst thing they could add to the game. Why would anyone want players who have literally three months ahead of you in money, levels and gear to join you on a fresh server?

If they let you transfer, they might as well just skip the whole three month access period and just give Founders millions of silver, a max level character and some end-gameish gear. It’d be the same thing at that point.

I’m all for isolation of Founders. Let them play in their Ghost towns.

Server transfer is not even near to be a option…

Agree, there’s no way for transfer to a new server from old one.

Its IMC everything is possible after this ramdom founder announcement

That’d be the death of the game in the short term. You’d piss off a lot of people that way. In the long term (assuming this game even gets one at the rate it’s going), three months won’t really happen, but in the short term, it’s just going to annoy players.

Dude for real i see you in every Thread bitching around. Im 100 % Sure you will buy the 3 Month early Acces even so you only cry. You are obv an competative Player who cant stand it if someone gets ahead. So go grab your moms credit card kid.

ps: Sry normally i dont do such things but srsly i couldnt resist.

Though I also think that a 3 months headstart is ridiculous and would most lilkely bring many (too many) problems, why do you sound so butthurt? I mean, you sound like the bigger A-hole or maybe have an inferiority complex. Not everyone is a “money mcfart” or a “douchebag who wants to beat the crap out of F2P players so they can feel good about themselves”, some people are just more eager to play and can afford to pay.

I don’t know about server transfer. That might screw up the economy for the new server.

Though personally if I had to choose between a new server versus a server that’s already populated, I would definitely pick the latter. I feel player build economy in ToS is super important. It really make leveling much much much easier. You get access to pardoner’s buff, player potions, and player repair/weapon upgrade right off the bat. Those are really helpful.

Furthermore, I didn’t get to join a guild on kToS, but I imagine you can join a pvp guild right from the beginning without the grind, in which is what a lot of people is looking for too.

Dumbass. Look in my profile and see where I live, I can’t buy the game at all.

I can bitch all I want, this is not your personal site. I’m expressing my opinion about bad decision of a company, which promised us, but didn’t deliver.

So, if you can’t add anything more about your uncomfortable feelings with my posting, I suggest not bothering me.

Then that means all your comments are pointless, Autentist. :joy:

Gotcha, no reason to read your posts then.

He’s being pretty objective, actually. I get that he’s saying the things a lot of Founders don’t want to hear, but to ignore him because of where he lives or his access to the game is pretty toxic.

I don’t give a damn about you or other people, who bother me and try to engage in meaningless conversations.

You are pathetic.

And what insider information do you have to judge that this is a bad decision for the company?

I agree it probably is a bad decision for YOU because you can’t afford the early access. Lucky for you it’s a F2P game so you can still enjoy it in June.

I do not think founders should be allowed to transfer, for the reason you stated: it would create a huge imbalance of power and economy.

Either,

  1. founders should be stuck on their founders servers, which I don’t think will be quite as much of a ghost town as everyone is making them out to be. Low level gears will be cheap on the auction house, there are experienced players and guilds to help you out, there will be merchant chars selling cheap services as soon as you start. It will actually be easier to start out on the founder server than the F2P server.

Or,
2) wait until 3-6 months after the F2P servers launch before allowing the founders to transfer. Sure, the founders will still be 3 months ahead but it won’t make quite as big of an impact and it won’t scare off players from joining the F2P servers at launch.

What the hell are you even talking about?

I have to be an insider to express my opinion? What?

I’m also all for founder server being separated from F2P servers after the game goes F2P.

Too much balancing issue and “ppl getting ahead” problems.
