I´ve heard that transmit prana doesnt affect physical attacks. And since zealots attacks are all physical, you cant really take advantage of transmit prana.

You can’t create a magic Zealot since, as Fenatte stated, all of Zealots skills are physical melee attacks.
You can, however, build a hybrid Zealot with physical[from Zealot] and magic skills[from other Classes], since your magic skills will also benefit from Fanaticism and Blind Faith, so as long as you keep this in mind, there is nothing wrong with building what you like.
