[Build] Wolfy's DievDruid Guide (Revamped on 22-03-17)

If you can, perhaps keep both? I prefer the int build myself. Any ideas what r9 might bring yet?

Thanks for answering. I don’t see many druid3 or any at all so I was just thinking maybe the class is bugged and is literally unplayable or its just not great overall.

I really like the idea of druid3 but I despise diev as a class overall. It would be interesting to see what alternative builds you will come up with. Really looking forward and thank you for bringing hope into this class. :slight_smile:

To @artemisgames01 That would be quite time consuming, or i would really do it. I may just focus on DEX, and answer questions about INT builds on comments.

Also about r9, We already achieved Druid3 so can’t really go any further on those. It opens a LOT of possiblities:

  • We are gonna receive 2 new rank 9 classes to choose from, which sadly we have no info about yet.
  • Or we can pick a lower rank circle if thats needed, but then we don’t know how difficult R9 maps/content will be.

As for ideas on a DievDruid DEX build, i’ve been thinking:

  • Inquisitor1: This may be my first choice as im focusing on Mace, also would be interesting to spread Lycan hits. They hit hard but have a very narrow frontal AoE. This is a full offensive choice.

  • Priest1: Resurrection is just an awesome skill to have, it would be a really BIG sacrifice to take it at r9, but certain people/groups prefer to have resurrection on long content runs like ET, also permanent Monstrance to keep your DEX on the high numbers. Support/Utility choice.

  • Kabba1: Probably as PvP choice and utility. Ein Sof can help you keep Lycanthropy form up without sacrificing on an extra set of items.

  • Miko: I dont really like this choice. Clap for statues, hamaya for extra circle dps and gohei for pvp. Yet it feels kinda lackluster on this setup.

As for INT builds, they can choose the same except for Inquisitor i guess. Havent checked Inquisitor damage on INT builds.

As for a different DEX build, i theorycrafted the following build for a guildie:

C2 - P2 - Diev1 - Druid3

It allows you to keep Monstrance for yourself, get the plant damage attribute from diev, also Zemyna, Laima and Vakarine.
But, its actual hell to get to Rank8 and my guildie needed to quest/grind together with other guildie all the way up to rank8. But the performance once you reach it is really awesome.

On an INT build, there is not really many INT dps low rank classes on the cleric tree. I’ve see some Bokor builds with Druid3 on KToS, but seems they no longer use Effigy once they reach Lycan, so seems like a waste.

C2 - Kriv3 - Druid3 - (Tao?) / C2 - Kriv3 - Druid2 - Tao - (Druid3)

Could be a possible build for Rank 9. You can double your stats while transforming under HS, so Zaibas on Storm will hit really really hard. Of course we don’t know if we may be missing something good on Tao2.
Also Kriv3 Zaibas falls off already at Rank7, so its a bit difficult to quest. Not at full DEX level difficult for sure.

Cl2>Bok2>Diev1>Druid3: Mainly for zombies? Dunno how good or bad zombies are later though.

About Guardiant Saint, there was the idea about going cleric3 for it with Druid so you could telepath an enemy on it. But Telepath was changed to not make the telepath unit an ally anymore (currently bugged after the emergency mainteance on its previous state)

Bokor Effigy is still better than zombies, haven’t really found any high level Bokor to talk about this. But im guessing their scaling is really poor.

Result of today testing with the SP recovery set:

I sacrifice 600 pdef and 180 mdef when using this set

Lyoni hit for 1.3k physical damage WHEN they manage to hit (I avoid 85% of their attacks)

The mage mobs hit for 3k, but seems to attack way slower than zeffis, even on a Red Mob spawn with lots of them, it was nothing i couldnt heal.

Used 10x lvl 15 sp potions on 1h (!) i was on Lycan mode for the full hunting time.

Got 1 Lyoni Horn

So far the results are quite promising.

Edit bonus: Also can afk/talk without the worry of run out of sp. This is really way more relaxing than before lol.

Thank you for these post. It really shows how much your build os viable. Things Will be even better with the new update that Will come to us today, with the monster’s status being balanced.

Once there is no big deal with Monsters, i cant go against a full sex build, except with the ows damage.
So, do you do solmiki with this character? I`ve never did it myselft so i cant avaliate How importante ows are. Do your’s do the job or you need that someone else do big damage? Sorry If i’m saying something stupid… I really dont know how it Works ;–;

physical attack is niceeee

i want to try unroasted blue gem too but i’m already put red gem in my mace :cry:

I guess its nice if you only take physical classes after Druid3, like Inquisitor on R9. But even so, most cleric circles still benefit mostly from magical attack (ex. Inquisitor Malleus Maleficarum)

Most physical classes before Druid wont really fit well on this build.

I’ve been thinking over some time to make a new main since main DPS isn’t for me.I really like your build but I don’t like diev gameplay but enjoy priest’s gameplay.Due to that,I wanted to make a few questions about a possible cleric 2 - priest 3 - Druid 3 build.

1- You said blue gem unroasted are better for weapons but since Red gems increases both magical and physical attack wouldn’t red ones be better for damage?I’m planning to make a heart of glory if I like the build but I wanted to make it clear to me since I will use five hammer most of the time.

2- 20% increase at the cost of a priest circle seems too much for me.Do I lose a lot with it?At your test video it seemed to be 1k non-crit damage and 3k at crit damage.Is it a lot?I seldon notice my damage .-.

3- If you sit with a squire lv 10 table,you can recover immidiatly your sp,right?Is it a bug or intended?

4- Is werewolf damage enough to solo the game?I’m not saying it needs to be fast solo but enough damage and survivability to not lose a 1v1 against mobs.I plan to mostly pve so I don’t care about the pvp aspect.When I pvp,it’s mostly for fun and I don’t care if I lose XD

5- Is int ok for this build?I care about my damage but I want a better support expirience so I thought about going int with it.Dex sounds cool too but it doesn’t sound futureprof as int.

red gem is ok for 315 mace

prefer unroasted blue for orange

druid scale from both but but druid already strong by just a base atk

i don’t suggest priest becoz priest give nothing to druid and diev have better synergy

I’m aware Priest does nothing to the classe but I like Priest and I want a suport dps.It Washington that or Monk Inquisitor and,honestly,I prefer druida because id the werewolf and etĆ©rea.
I event decided to change the build to either cleric 2 Priest 2 diev 1 or cleric 3 Priest 2 and I considero the former one more of my style and interesting.
Already made the Toon and It os Stilo cleric 1.I’m leveling hum really slowly and Enjoying once again to Quest as a cleric.

  1. The MAX damage provided by Red Gems isnt fully doubled by Hengestone transformation bonus. Blue gems also provide -SP which will help you sustain your Lycanthropy form.

  2. If you are not going full SPR (which you wont as a druid3) then Stone Skin is not really that necessary. But either Priest3 or Diev1 is fine.

  3. You wont recover inmediatly your SP. Squire Table provides a food called Yogurt, which reduces the interval your passive sp regeneration activates. Up to -10 seconds at table level 10.

  4. Yes, Lycanthropy damage is good enough without the need of a transcended weapon, but i mostly require my diev circles to survive and do proper cleaning. As the AoE and cooldowns are a bit hard to deal with big groups.

  5. INT or DEX is your choice, there is no such thing as futureproof on this game. Specially after the big rebalance patch.

Is this build still viable for the upcoming changes about the combat system? Like the dex stat doesn’t increase crit rate anymore. And would also like to ask if this build is good for full int or half str half int?

I’m not wolfy but… I think it’s still too early to call anything. Dex could mean faster wolf punches.
