[Build] Wolfy's DievDruid Guide (Revamped on 22-03-17)

You can see all my equipment on this video:

Squire C3 is not mandatory, but saves a LOT of potions.

Transformation is kind of useless on its current state, i just use it for fun or to save SP. All their attributes are good i guess.

The only Druid C3 attribute is Telepath Crowd Control, which was good until IMC reverted the effect of Telepath and hasnt answer me in 1 month.

Firstly, thanks for the guide! DievDruid was a build that I ever wanted to run since I started playing but never did so and now that I finally came back to play I’m having so much fun with it.

So, I have some questions, mainly about equipment:

  • What are the best case scenarion equips I should aim for?
  • About the SP recovery set, how do you manage it? Should I equip the main stats one before Hengestone>Lycantrophy to keep it’s bonuses and then change to the SP recovery set and keep it equipped? I read something about swapping equips only when recovery strikes, but how do I actually do it? And about Squire3, can I have it on the same account as my druid or should I get it on another account and log in another computer?
  • Finally, while I’m still rank 7, which monster should I transform into (I’m running int build right now)? Preferably something that can make up for flying monsters advantage.

Thanks in advance!

You can wear anything you get or prefer on your way to r8. Warmage set can boost your dps for example.

But once you get to r8 you may want to use plate gloves on INT build so wont miss as much. Also start to work around stats that get doubled by Hengestone.

raw HP or CON is usually desirable on high level armor.

Grynas < Virtov Plate < Lolopanther plate < Hasta Plate (armor or pants) < solmiki plate.

Take note that these armor suggestions are aimed for the current damage formula and may change once that patch arrives.

The squire can easily be on your same account. Camp, Table food and repair shop work stay there when you change character

Sadly i dont think there is any mob that may help on an offensive way right now. Or not efficiently at all. I would recommend you go for a transform that would provide you with defensive stats. (insect, small or large as needed)

Heya Wolf. First of all, thank you for this guide. Second: I’d like to point out collectibles since if you get all of the sp recovery ones, you can stack up 41 SP recovery in total (this is based on tosbase info, could be more).

Haha you got me there. I was working on getting all the sp recovery collections before the combat changes were announced.

This build may need to be revised once that update gets to us. So im keeping it quiet around here.

How bad this build turned? Will you guys change it to… Priest c3? or Krivis? I really enjoy Dievs Druid sintony ;-;

I really like it aswell, it would still work … probably, but its gonna be really hard to sustain.

Diev owls have a big downtime now even if lower cd, also their damage was reduced.
Lycanthropy would require a high tier mace to be able to compete on damage with other classes.

Dievdirbys may get only build on full support now. And i hope they revise Druid performance on the next patch. (PvP, Boss and Underperforming Classes rebalancing)

Im gonna reset to Cleric2Priest1Sadhu2Druid3, but alternatives are gonna be:

  • Cleric3Sadhu2Druid3
  • Cleric2Diev1Sadhu2Druid3
  • Cleric2Priest2Diev1Druid3

As builds i could recommend with Druid3.

Sadly im not sure about Diev3 uses yet. I could still recommend it as defenser/zoner/utility class, but the Owls cooldown nerf just made a common reason for people to hate Diev even worse.

I didn’t want to go for Priest nor Sadhu. Priest because I alredy have one and sadhu because i’ll defnetly just lost myself with 2 things to atck and controll at the same time '—'
Guess I’ll follow the 3rd option.
Thanks for aswering me ^^

Ahm another thing, we’ll get our shard invested on equips back right? So, it’s bet to wait till the maintence then trade my windia for a Vienarazis mace right?

Oh yeah and status? 250 int / 30~50 con / 30~ spr> something like that?

Oh im not getting sadhu for OOB using.

Astral Body Explosion has a good skill factor and a magic bleeding of sorts.
Prakriti has an attribute that allows to get selfhealed for a % of health, under Lycan still untouched +100% HP it would be a good sustain.
Possession is an awesome AoE and CC, combined with Carnivory reworked hit mechanic.

Im probably going CON-INT, i will still be using my Lolo gloves with an Accuracy gem im using right now. I already got my Skull Smasher and provides a huge SPR boost, so im not sure if i shud invest more on it.

Oh :open_mouth: i did not know all that. Guess that i’ll give it a try hmhm

Possession is like the new owl heh

(sorry to insist but what about the shards? will we get the used ones back?)

Yes, its supposed you get back every shard you used. I havent see any complain on the ktest/ktos bbs, so i guess its working properly.

thank you very much ^^

What about Cleric2 -> Priest3 ->Druid3?

I know Stone Skin will be completely different post-patch but more Blessing is always good. It’ll be a shame to lose the utility Diev provides but in terms of raw damage, a SPR Priest/Druid would be the simplest option, no?

I “invented” a spr monk build and I think what they said to me fits here too. Was something like investing points in the status that actually will make a difference. Lycan scales with matck and patck, so for a damage dealer build it would work Int and maybe Str? Full spr you’ll boost your blessing… so what? +1500 damage(something like that right) and you don’t even have extra hits provided from sacrament.
This is leaving a giod gear aside but even so I think it’s best a Int build.
But hey, it’s your playing and as long as you have fun with it then that’s enogh for me.

In the other hand if you want a godam suport bad ass tanky build i think it’ll fit perfctly hauahaua

I like that build a lot tbh, the Feral Priest.

  • No knockbacks = secured resurrections
  • High HP and survability
  • No SP problems because of the high SPR
  • Cheap damage thanks to Blessing

It can easily work, but late game you will depend on your weapon to boost even higher your damage. If you like it, go for it!

This update may have kileld the OPness of DievDruid, but it has allowed for way more verstaile ways to build a Druid.

Edit: Im going to bed, but im glad you guys are still on check of this now outdated guide =P

i would say that build is more in align with meta in the upcoming patch, esp in end game pve.
possibly one of best build for druid3s atm, or cleric2priest2-x-druid3 just my 2-cent

What about K3? Is Zalcai 15 not worth to be picked?

Any1 can share build for Cleric2 Krivis3 Druid3 ?

In my experience, Druid has been a fairly self-contained class since the introduction of Rank 8. Lycanthropy and Hengestone work so well together that the vast majority of a Druid3’s DPS comes solely from them.

Now that’s changing. The big nerf to Hengestone means a Druid has to decide what aspect, DPS or support, they want to focus on and choose their “foundation classes” based on that. Priest is the choice for team support right now but I’m not so sure how suited it is to Druids looking to fill a DPS role (Such as myself :sunglasses:)

I plan to test out the Feral Priest build (Love that name, by the way) but the more I look at what’s available the more I’m inclined to go with a “Wild Spirit” build (Cleric2 -> Diev1 -> Sadhu2 -> Druid3). The Sadhu revamp gives it some very nice damage tools and Diev’s all around utility might just be too awesome to let go.
