Can you provide me some insights as to what build i can go? Currently have a2>sap2 135 str 40 con 50 dex. Planning to go a3>sap2>sr3. Would mounting and unmounting be a bother? Thanks.

My main is currently lvl 214, with the following build:
A2> sapper2> Rogue> SR
Planning to go SR3.
From my experience, the skill I mostly(95% of the time use is broom trap from sapper, and I do only PvE .
It doesn’t bother me at all that using sapper skills unmount.
The thing is, as soon as you use broom trap, for example, immedieatly press Alt+up and you’re mounted again.
I think you’ll be fine with that build.
I can be mistaken, but I guess most of the people who says it is unviable never even tested the build.

That’s what I am thinking. At first, I was planning a2>hunt2>a3>sr3 for the ride then use hunter skills tactic. but I fell inlove with broomtrap. I guess i’m going to continue sappereiter build. Do I need ranger 1 on my rank 5? or archer 3 will do?
use skill that unmount will cause you problem when you’re at high density mob and you can’t click your pet which make you can’t use SR skill when needed

A2>Sap2>X>Y>R7(x and y are sc/ro/fal)
A2>sap2>Fletcher3 fletcher with nice aoe skill
A2>sap2>wugu2>cannon/wugu3 a used to be popular cannon build in early month of release broom trap work very well with wugong gu, but cannon hit limited target and shootdown doesn’t make flying mob being hit by broomtrap/gu pot as people theory craft at that time.

This is what I’m using as a guide for now.
A1 > RA1 > SAP2 now.
So, I can tell it by my experience, I do that on high density mobs and you can mount again no problem.
I do that on grinding maps like alemeth, also on any other map you can do it just fine.
Just use any skill that unmount, then immedieatly press alt+up arrow. It is that simple.

Rogue is a nice filler, since it has sneak hit an capture lets you use double broom trap at the cost of a long cooldown.
Having sneak hit allows you to invest more points in Str.
Edit: I don’t have ranger 1 in my build, but it helps a lot if you’re going rogue on rank 5, because feint+barrage combo will help a lot later on, specialy on flying mobs.
