How about Magic Amp with Carve Owl? is it +dmg for it? etc.Animus

Can you give some tips about owl placement at knockback bosses, especially in rnd groups?
I run into the boss safety zone, laima, owl owl as close as possible. And 20 sec later (often earlier) my statues sitting somewhere totally pointless.
Makes the whole three diev circles pretty useless.
Once in a blue moon I get some awesome tank which tanks the boss on the spot and my owls do their work. But thats like 1/20 tries.
Also if I party I dont bother anymore with statues in dungeons/missions beside bosses (which leads to problem one). World Tree is the exception. The statues are way to static, the parties too dynamic.

Is this how the future of my class (atm at 140) looks?

@discotechstyle - Magical amplification snapshots to the owl and time of construction. It provides an RNG value of additional magic damage ranging from zero to your magic amp stat. In a sense, it’s magic damage that only adds to the upper limit of your damage.

@siosena - I only partied with friends to be honest, who knew how to play around my statues. I didn’t do the Fedimian missions much either. Most of my grinding included just providing general support and attacking with skills outside of Carve Owl. I primarily used it when I knew a boss wouldn’t be moving, or to clear mobs of enemies occasionally. Laima will come up often enough and in a grind group you’ll ultimately be playing the support role more than anything else.

Your choice at R6 will round out your build and it’s purposes a lot. I’ve been recommending Priest C1 more and more as of late, and if I had the option to would reset to that.

I thought about priest, but thats basically one circle for rez which seems only hot in ET (which I admit looks like the “endgame”) and a bunch of mediocre buffs (and I hate buffing every minute so pointless, but ignoring would be even more pointless).
Still playing support without rez feels pretty lame I have to admit.

Anyway with my leveling speed (cough) I will have at least another week or two to decide for R6.

Not just for that anymore! If and when the Blessing changes come to our version of the game, you’ll have a fairly powerful Blessing that you can upkeep on your own. In many cases, this contributes to the overall damage moreso than Druid C1 can, especially in a party. Monstrance is also a single level powerhouse skill.

Hi Veritas,

Thank you for sharing all of your insights and experience with us!

I’m currently at C2 > Diev3, about to hit rank 6. My plan is take Druid2 after. I REALLY like what PD brings to the table, but I’m too much of a druid fanatic to not go all in (will likely go Druid3 when it available).

May you share your insights regarding the C2 > Diev3 > Druid2 build? Ideally along these areas:

  1. Viability in ET/Endgame
  2. PVP
  3. World Bossing

Again, many thanks!

Tell me the conclusion when you get your answer  I am currently c2-diev3 about to hit rank 6 as well. I would get priest for r6 however I hate being a priest support.

@evrencp - It may be too late to jump into the bossing scene depending on what server you’re on. The Druid C1 pick is strong in PvP and was strong in world bosses early on, but will take some time on Klaipeda before it’s strong again (post world boss debuff). On non-Dullahan I travel in a party as a sub-DPS for scouting.

I still strongly recommend Priest C1 in the R6 spot at this time, on this server, as a well-rounded pick more geared towards providing support on the side.

@GrandeTaco - Druid C2 is a side-grade to the current build.

  1. Good through 5/F especially. Sterea Troph is amazing. Lacks Resurrect, which can be a big detriment.
  2. It’s okay. Less PvP ability than current build, but feasible.
  3. Just as strong, and stronger when there are many PD players present at a boss.

Playing on fedimian server. So priest 1 is a must I guess. Thanks for the support.

@Veritas So atm i have dievdoctor lv 232 with abt 90ish point in con, do i benefits more by getting animus or max petamion?and im using healthstone as of now, any other better necklace before i can get those animus/max peta?thanks a bunch

You’ll in general get more out of Animus. No noteworthy necklaces in-between.

Hey @Veritas what dou u think about this?

C2 > Bokor 3 > Pardoner > Plague for PVP/GVG?

Hey Veritas. So if i go priest c1 instead of your build druid c1, taking aspersion 5/5, monstance 1/5, blessing 4/5, ressurection 5/5 is a way to go?
And whats your opinion about recent changes diev statues having 15HP instead of 140. Is it only in pvp?

@paranoidkross - Bokor builds are interesting but I don’t have enough experience with them to judge their capacity in PvP beyond how useful Mackingdal is. With Pardoner, it’d strictly be for Magic Defense buff since you’re unlikely to get much out of Discerning Evil in PvP.

@Kakas69 - Should be fine technically. Aspersion is unlikely to do much in this build. The statue HP thing is a PvP only change and is fairly notable. But it encourages enemies now to attack the statues over players to clear them from the map. In some other situations, enemies may not have the ability to prioritize statues over players.

Just hit rank 7 (literally stayed up 2 nights) and went C2 > Diev3 > Druid2.

I have to say… Druid Carnivory is VERY underwhelming. The fact that it is hit count based (not affected by aoe ratio) makes it bad for general use. On bosses, it dishes out good damage, but the damage is not that great considering it is a Rank7 ability (at level 10).

I can’t help but feel that the Druid1 > PD1 is the better build for pure damage on all levels. Not to mention it is better at PVP as well.

Oh, and Veritas, 20F ET has been cleared by a Korean group. in the team there were two Clerics, one being Priest for resurrect. So don’t count yourself out past 10/F cause it seems like having 2 Clerics is viable.

Edit: Also wanted to add that Flying Mobs are the bane of my existence right now.

Tough call, very different balancing in the game versions and just in general their players are significantly stronger by version difference alone as well as funding thanks to things like the 130 silver farm. But I did see the screenshot, and it was nice to see that a Dievdirbys was part of the first ET 20/F clear.

Druid C2 is primarily for Sterea Troph. I think that’s really it’s trump card. It also sets itself up for Druid C3 whenever that becomes a thing.

Your edit came up as I was typing this and it was pretty humorous. :camel:

Sterea Trofh is the signature of Druid2 for sure, but it is heavily dependent on content. AKA. Situational

It is a unnecessary skill for 95% of the current content, but becomes extremely powerful for the last 5% (current End Game)

I am having a blast with transform though. =)

So im going C2 > KRIVIS > BOKOR 2 > DRUID > PD

Sorry, where did you find the screenshot of the 20F clear and what was the party set up like?

Here’s the news:
