Build for new changes?

I haven’t played ToS for several months now, as I was waiting for a rank reset.

I was wondering what people think of this as a build? As I only know about some of the recent changes that were made:

Sword1>Pelt1>Hop3>?>Drag2

Not entirely sure what to put in Rank 6:

  • Cata for mount and 2hSpear buffs, knockdowns and Trot lv5
  • Corsair for the use of a Pistol and loot
  • Sword2 for Restrain and higher Pain Barrier/Concentrate
  • Dop for DoV and Cyclone

Hop Doppel Dragoon is the current meta Dragoon build so feel free to pick that.
Cata1 is bad (go Cata3 or not at all)
Corsair for Hook/Flag is some nice utility (consider it for PvP)
Sword2 could be picked instead of Pelt but I wouldn’t pick it on R7 (Pelt isn’t a must have anymore for DPS swordies)

I wanted Pelt1 for the +25% Block with shield equipt, and to be able to use Guard with +50% PDef for mobs that hit high with physical. Paired with the +30% Block from Finestra.

What changed to make Pelt1 less necessary?

What about something like this? Left some points out, only put points into the main skills.

It will be mainly for PVE.
