to be an off-tank would you consider going peltasta c1 in place of swordsman c2?
I really was in doubt between Swordsman c2 and Peltast c1 … But after looking better, I came to the conclusion that is not worth choosing Peltast c1, because only half of his skills will be useful as hoplite. Is more worth sacrifice a small tankyness to get a considerable damage boost.
EDIT: Also i think that some CON points will be necessary, even if you take peltast c1 because block is increased with CON.
Why did you max thrust in the sword circle? You do realize skill points carry over if you’re following the same circle. That being said, why not advance pommel beat instead? It does blunt damage and has very good stun much longer than bash.
Id recommend that you should reorganize your skill distribution with this in hand. I forgot who mentioned, but you’re better off maxing the attribute points for your lower level attacks then wasting skill points on them. Skill points simply add a flat damage increase, where else those attributes you purchase from your job master offer % increase.
Hope this helps!!!
Because Pommel beat is crap, according to the Koreans:

Thanks, I didnt read too much on it. I was just trying to use that as a point since OP was just maxing out some skills where he could be putting some points into others he may have not known about skill point sharing of circle. But thanks for the link!
Just curious, why do you say that only half of Peltasta skills can be used as hoplite? Do you not plan on using a shield? And I’d recommend getting Long Stride. It could be a gap closer against longer ranged enemies. Probably useful in PvP too.
You already have loads of stab, I don’t think thrust is that necessary. Also, I think the extra gung ho levels won’t be all too helpful.
If you go peltasta1 you get taunt, which makes leveling so much easier, as well as some hit damage. To compliment that you could put a couple points in synchro thrusting, this way you have good sources of stab and decent hit for any resistant monsters. Not to mention the amount of survivability that you will get from the extra block attributes and such.
1 level of long stride might be ok as well seeing you have 0 mobility as a melee class.
