Bug : Unable to activate Passage Purifier in Purifying first gallery quest

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : Crystal Mine 1F on the passage purifier.

Bug Description :
(letting us know what you were doing before, during, and after the bug happened will help us a lot)

Completed the quest normally up to fighting the Spirit Master for the third purifier part. Once defeated I obtained the part and then went to use the purifier to repair it but wasn’t able. Forfeit and re receiving the quest has also left me unable to regain the purifier part to fix it.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Obtain Purifying the First Gallery quest and follow normally until the spirit master fight.
  2. Attempt to repair Purifier and have no reaction.
  3. Forfeit and Receive quest again to see if it would work then.
  4. Now you are unable to gain the part you lost when you forfeited the quest and cannot obtain the Spirit Master fight again.

I can confirm this bug… I’m now stuck on this quest too. :confounded:

okay, i figured out that the bug isnt actually the quest itself but the UI of the quest, if you just continue to floor2 you can actually get the next quest.

are you talking about the quest you get from interacting with the purifier on floor 2? because that was a white quest while the main story line ones are yellow.

no, it’s actually a continuation of the main quest… so i think if u finished that, the bug will be fixed. im not sure, but worth trying

Sadly it doesn’t seem to continue for me.

I’m having the exact same issue. I can’t get the spector boss to spawn and can’t seem to activate the purifier either. Going to floor 2 doesn’t do anything.

I made a similar post about this earlier when I got stuck on the central purifier. Ended up having to just remake my character due to not being able to finish the quest.

3 months later I can confirm this bug is not fixed yet -_-

I finally solved it doing that quest on party with another player who didn’t fight the boss “Specter Monarch”.

At the first time, I fought him alone and he defeated me. The next time I went back to fight him, he didn’t appear anymore, so I couldn’t get the item to fix the last purifier in the first floor (but I had access to the second floor).

As I said, after doing the quest with another player, we were able to kill the boss, I got the item to finish the quest and I could go on to the next quest; so IMC, the bug is on the respawn of the “Specter Monarch” if he defeats you, at least for me.

IM on floor 2 on the last purifier i was able to kill the carapace but now cant click on the pureifer not sure what to do

Does this still have no real solution cause its rather annoying
