[BUG] Rune Caster Skill Casting Issues

Hello,

I am not sure if any other RuneCasters are having this issue, but when trying to cast Rune of Destruction or Rune of Justice, even on a full charge it often doesnt go off, its as if it was cancelled without a full-charge.

Oddly it doesnt seem to have the issue when i’m just testing firing blindly at nothing, but in dungeons and mobby situations (when they’d be most needed) they often just dont fire off. I am unsure if this is some sort of lag issue or some targetting code glitch.

On the current build I have wiz3 so I cast them both with surespell and quickcast on, if that is relevant to the issue.

If you take a knockback hit it will cancel doesn’t even matter if you are inside a Safety Zone. It will cancel since it made you move.

Even with Surespell?

Even surespell, it not supposed to keep you casting if you take a stun hit like knockback/down or even stuns.

No no, even without taking any damage/hits/knockback, the skill just doesnt go off even on full charge often.

I’m not sure if that’s how it works on Rune caster but…

Check if the level1~5 pop-up in your head before you release the skill button, sometimes due to the lag located in the map you are on makes the server think that you still didnt fully cast the skill, causing it to fail.

Yeah, i’ve had that issue with some other skills, like with Energy Blast, if I didnt see the levels popping up I knew it was gonna fail.

However for Rune Caster its an all-or-nothing skill, so it doesnt display charge level. s:

It buggy because of the latency (Mostly in party)
Wait for the I’m charged flash/blink light animation on your char insted of the fully charged bar … might take an extra 1-3 sec depeding how much thing is happening around.

i keep my fully charge spell with surespell after being kd from dg bosses pr mobs, onle sleep or stun can cncel spell charge, im talking in pve, idk on pvp

I use surespell on my Cryokino and when i take knockback/down it always cancel, there are certain spells and conditions to be met to lock channeling skills (some of them like Sadhu Possession) that it lock it until you use basic attacks or run out of SP (depending on the skill i think).

It is lag related (server side).

I know about this bug coz I try many time to cast skill of rune caster and fail many time.

This bug from “quick cast”
“quick cast” lv5 -50% casting time. when you got buff “Divine might” add skill+1 lv make quick cast lv6 -60% casting time. but all skill of rune caster limit cast at 4sec.When you cast skill with quick cast lv6 cast bar full but your body not go yellow blink(mean cast finish) release skill b4 that mean you cancel cast skill.
when u cast skill with lv6 quick cast. you need to wait more for 0.8 sec for get your body yellow blink then release skill

but this still bug of the game need to fix.

Divine Might raise the cast time up from 4 sec to 6 sec (WQC)

That s the reason of this BUG.

It’s pretty much due to latency/lag. With rune caster skills when it’s done charging your character will flash a bright gold when it’s finished charging. That’s when you can use your skill even if the charge bar is full it might not cast so just wait for your character to flash that’s what I’ve noticed anyways.
