yep, Ragnarok Online, still running a decade later… most of the “nice” stuff (high quality, or fashion items) dropped at around 0.01% (1 in 10,000).
in short: farm the ever-loving hell out of whatever you can, and sell off whatever goodies you find to buy the goodies you want.
sooner or later some lucky ___ is going to find the thing you want, and decide they don’t want it. you just need to have the obscene pile of cash to cough up whatever exorbitant price they’re asking for it.
…i’m amazed by the number of people that think that this game don’t be like it do.
NA style games are all about the quick race to the level-cap to do all the “end game” content. Korean style games are all about the levelling itself, and it is long, and slow, and painful at times, and when you find that one prized treasure, even if it’s not the one you wanted, you’re very happy, because it really -is- a rare prized treasure, and most people don’t have one.
