Bug Description :

About Morph: Mutates the summoned devil from the Grimoire to the devil that is equipped as a secondary card in the Grimoire while maintaining its previous stats.

So when you use morph the second card on grimoire is summoned maintaining the stats from the first , we’re talking about STR / CON / INT / DEX , but when you use it the stats don’t change and your boss get weaker.

Some people say that morph is to transfer stars from a card to another, but that’s not what the skill say, actually even if they right the skill will still bugged as you will see.

I put a Fire Lord card Lvl1 (STR 65/ CON 116 /INT 65 / DEX 65/SPR 18) on the first slot and a Templeshooter Lvl8 (STR 37/CON 116/ INT 18/ DEX 18/ SPR 141) on the second slot from grimoire, with the stats from fire lord the templeshooter should be better because the STR and DEX increasement, but not, he get weaker.

To check if the skill it’s working, i put a Throneweaver Lvl1 (STR 28/CON 125 /INT 65/ DEX 47/ SPR 56) on first slot, if the skill was working the damage from a templeshooter with throneweaver stats should be worse than a templeshooter with fire lord stats, but both deal the SAME DAMAGE.

I thought the problem its the number of stars so i get a chapparition Lvl8 (STR 28/ CON 121/ INT 84/ DEX 65/ SPR 37) and put it on first slot. With the same number of stars than a chapparition, the morphed templeshooter should deal the same damage as a normal summoned templeshooter, but not, he get weaker too.

I believe the problem it’s not just the stats exchange, the morph could be ignoring the summoning skill level too, i put my normal summoned fire lord on first slot and he deals 1.5k ~ 1.8k damage, when i put throneweaver on first slot and morphed to fire lord he deals 1k ~ 1.3k, since the stats are not making any difference the fire lord should deal the same damage.

As far as i remember, the stats are from the primary card, so if you put a Lv 1 in the first slot and morph on another with more stars, that secondary one will take the stats of the 1 star in the first slot, so if you want it to be good even with only 1 star, you have to put the highest star card in the first slot.

As i said MORPH ITS NOT TO TRANSFER STARS, you didnt read it the post.

I didn’t said a thing about transferring stars, but stats, more stars mean more stats, which is the same, you did a test by inverting the 1 star in the primary slot and the 8 star in the secondary, you expect the secondary becoming stronger when you have a 1 star as primary? Of course it won’t work like that.

Just saw the case when i morphed a lvl8 chapparition to templeshooter lvl8, he get weaker and the physical attack from both are almost the same.

And one more thing, a lvl10 templeshooter and a lvl1 templeshooter have the same stats, the stars just increase his attack, str/dex/con are the same.

Morph its totally ignoring the stats, but i think i will need repost that i saw some mistakes, but thanks for reply.

Then it was changed in one of the last patches, i remember there was a difference in it before, i know they get their Attack and Defense up, i think HP too.

In all honesty i don’t like the way it is treated right now, it is lacking some stuff (besides AI rework).

On another thread about it, we where discussing about each boss elemental type and how it should be applied to their skills/basic attacks.

yeap that’s another bug, there’s no elemental attack.

You got me curious so I did some testing myself this morning, and it looks like the skill actually does the opposite of what it says. The star count of your first slot seems to heavily influence the result of morph, but it isn’t a direct transfer of stars. I think it may be that the stars are transferred, but the attack/def bonus of summon skill is lost during morph.

Using level 1 cards with widely different stats all morphed to the same TS.

Summoning skill & character stats:

Base TS10:

Base Netherbovine 1:

TS10 to TS3:

TS10 to Netherbovine 1:

TS3 to Netherbovine 1:

Netherbovine 1 to TS 10:

Netherbovine 1 to TS 3:

Cyclops 1 to TS10:

Throneweaver 1 to TS 10:

Spectre Monarch 1 to TS 10:

Morphing between duplicates definitely loses damage, could be the summoning skill bonus but the numbers don’t quite match what I’d expect.
