Because some subclasses have STR based skills, so i’m guessing they would end up gimped xD

Rather than say they rely on INT, it’s more that they rely on M.ATK.
If you need M.ATK, Mace has M.ATK bonus and you can equip M.ATK gems, or you can swap weapon during combat. As for stats, STR gives P.ATK, and as well as a little of M.ATK. Even though it is not much, but it’s still better than nothing when using Heal.
Im using mace with blue gems and sword with red gems
weapon switch is very useful
The buffs themselves, if you’re ignoring the damage dealing part, is just based on skill level and learned attributes.
