Aside from geras spear, are there other spears I should take for dragoon?
Some people advise using Zega on switch for buffing Finestra.
If you have silver to spare and doesn’t get bothered with switching gears inbetween buffs (e.g. you already have a Durandal for Sword buffs), then go ahead.
It’s important to remember though that when your Finestra buff is on, switching to a non-spear weapon like Durandal will automatically cancel it.
Well I have zega already. Still waiting for a cheap chaser or geras. What about 2H spears or lvl 220+ spears? Are there any worth getting?
For bosses, 2H spear are the best due to dragoon’s 2h-spear class attribute. Other than that, I think having a shield is almost always better unless you’re a 2h-spear focused build (Cata, Lancer).
Especially with the new changes I’m having a hard time justifying a 2H Spear.
