I haven’t touched the game yet, waiting for the may 10th release, but I’ve been doing research and playing with the skill builder to see what I wanted to play when I started, my ideal build will switch between 2h spear and 1h spear + shields. some ideas I have are:
sword/pelt/hop2/corsair/dopp/dragoon.
the idea here is swashbuckling from pelt, finestra from hop, jolly Roger and hook from corsair, and deeds+cyclone from dopp to give me some aoe and more buffs.
if I’m able to get good enough aoe elsewhere or it isn’t important, and deeds isn’t important, I can drop dopp and go hop3/corsair/dragoon.
my other idea was either:
sword/pelt/hop2/squire2/dragoon
or
sword/pelt/hop3/squire/dragoon.
the idea here is mostly the same as above except using squire for either just repairs and enhancements, or for those and refreshments with c2.
i would like some input/constructive criticism on these builds, as well as how I should put my stats for them. I don’t much care about min maxing, I just want a build that can play through the entire game without much trouble, IE enough damage to kill things, but enough defense/health/cc/support to stay alive.
