as we all know , this game is going to be free to play really soon , this is going to greatly affect the current market and some portion of the gameplay

we can take a guess that

  1. Marketed token price are going to be sky high , believe me f2p player love to grind.

  2. It take more time to finish a quest . Yup , the spawn system suck , and more player are coming (hope IMC do something about this)

  3. Death to friendly community . I don’t know about you guy but so far while played the game , most of the people are very friendly.The free to play from my experience are most likely going to bring ton of ill-mannered player to the game[p.s I played ton of CTB MMORPG game before it always like that , hope not with ToS]

And surely more can be added to list.

but the question is are you prepared ? I may quit this game is the third guess become reality . Please share your view on this.

I’m welcoming the f2p crowd. in fact i’m banking on them being more interesting than the founders community HAHA

The in-game community is generally friendly 1-on-1 but the ksing and obnoxious sass that comes with it, the silence in dungeon running, plus all the annoying people on megaphones doesn’t exactly make me feel any sort of attachment to this community. I know it’s dumb to expect a community to get better if it gets bigger, but shrugs.

I’m hoping the f2p crowd catches up fast and we get a bigger group of guilds and maybe see some alliances and a greater variety of kinds of players! I’m probably going to be working on an alt when it goes f2p so I get to play with them.

  1. Tokens are not going to be static in price anyways. Refer to KR for example.

  2. Only an issue if you aren’t 200+ by now. IMC did add more channels to later maps as well.

  3. This community is friendly? I don’t think the F2P crowd is any better, but we have a healthy crowd of very “special” people on this forum and in-game already.

F2p is next month but it may aswell be pushed till all the problems are fixed. Tokens can be limited to a flat 500k but that will only rage the community.

This game needs far far more items / weapons and more difficult recipes. Already the fan base (headstart players) have managed to lower the price on many things with just over demand and rmt have taken control over a few items on the market to transfer gold.

When the freelo players start rolling in it will be the swarm that the bible predicted and we will need Mosus and his revelations to save our asses from complete market price destruction.

That being said there is HUGE room for this game to grow. Guild lands, castle construction, improvements on the lodges, more maps, more classes, boats and their construction. Really the amount of time and money the developer wants to put into making this game uber is the limit of this games potential.

about the silence in the dongeon, i wish i could play my cleric with the mouse instead of been stuck with the controller, it is realy sad but when i play with the controller you cannot talk & attak at the same time so that why i dont talk …

Yeah, telling everyone to be wary of F2P players is so nice and inviting, not toxic at all.

Get real. This community is far from friendly and nice. It has just as many jerks as any other MMO community.

lol what. The other points were based on plausible truths, but this one makes no sense. In the first place it relies on there being a friendly community to begin with (lol) but F2P has been the base of the community since day one with the closed betas. Nobody paid to get in until the OBT, and it’s not like the two bases have been different at all (except for perhaps **a little bit ** of elitism on the P2P side of the coin)

I don’t know about you guys but I’m definitely looking forward to going from fighting over contested grinding spots with 2-5 parties per channel, to the new-and-improved “slideshow mode” when there are 10-20 parties trying to hit the same spot per channel. It will be a much more social environment.

And I can’t forget world bosses. Sometimes I wished there was a pause button. Now I’ll have one! When F2P hits I will finally be able to see what is going on as our perfectly optimized game pauses automatically for a minute on a snapshot of the battle so I can fully inspect, analyze, and appreciate exactly what is going on in my single-frame evaluation of the encounter.

I don’t think when F2P comes will be that catastrophe, most of the people who wants to play this game, is already playing.

Sure the population gonna raise, but not that huge.
