So… does anyone notice that these bots are 95% owning the shout / world chat just recently? this is pretty unusually sight. could there be an exploit happening ?
btw it’s on (SEA) server.

Its the same on the NA servers. Soon as I log in I need to mass block due to constant goldspam. Within 15 minutes they are all back again. I’ve reported so many bots in the past few days on level 60-100 maps… have ran into maybe 5 actual people and 40ish bots all well over lvl 100 chewing up all the quest mobs that are already super slow respawning.
I think we are in world of ■■■■ when FTP releases unless TOS is holding 5 aces. I really do like this game, but these bots are out of control right now.
It’s still noticeable on the more populated channels in Klai,as well. They’ve also resorted to private messaging their spam,as the past 3 days or so I’ve gotten 2-3 PM’s as soon as I touch the ground after I log in.
They really need to step up their efforts on weekends.
its pretty much nonstop 24/7 bot spamming. Kinda disgusting to login everyday to see it nonstop
yea the bots world spam is very alarming, it wasn’t like this just the other day. for them to be able to create new accounts. are they really spending that much? or their able to create accounts without spending again.
this is kind of bothering…
Do yourselves a favor and download the add on lkchat. It auto blocks and can even auto report bots for you. There’s an option to enable or disable the auto report. I’m usually pretty hesitant on addons but lkchat is worth it. Haven’t had any issues with it or bots.
Yes, I’d say gold sellers dominate world chat. There are two things that have been bothering me a great deal lately:
You log on and see the gold sellers spamming chat, then you proceed to try to block as many as you can before heading out to quest/grind or whatever it is you’re planning on doing. Some time later (at least 1 or 2 hours have passed) you return to the city and the same gold seller is still there spamming chat. Not a different seller… the same one from a few hours ago. Sometimes it goes on for a lot longer.
You are questing/grinding on a particular map and you spot one or multiple bots. After making sure that they are indeed bots you proceed to report them and try to ignore their presence. You finish what you’re doing for now, call it a day and log off. The next day you go to the same map to either finish what you started or simply passing through to the next map. Guess what? Yup… the same bots are still there (!!!) farming their hearts out. I am being generous saying only a day has passed, I think one time I saw one for 3 days in the same zone until I guess he outleveled that map and moved on to the next.
I think the point is not enough moderation is being done about it, at least not promptly enough. On #2, maybe my RII score is not high enough, but this needs to be looked at sooner rather than later. I heard IMC is a small team, how small exactly I do not know, but you somewhat need a GM presence in all servers most of the time to help monitor these things, among others concerning the stability and ensuring good behavior of the player base.
