Look like they just jammed Z key on their keyboards.

Technically, this is a gray area, since they don’t use any 3rd party software.

Technically, we can’t tell if it’s Z-bot or software.
He spoke to them, they didn’t move nor respond.

That’s like you pulling a fake gun out on a cop and he shoots you because he cannot disguise it from a real or fake.

Looks like a bot, acts like a bot and if it ain’t a bot then "oops"

Honestly i think those people are garbage for doing that, but at the end of the day like @miguelc0611 pointed out is the gray area of this game. There nothing on the rules that says you cant tape, jam, or put a weight on the Z key while you afk. Would i do it? No, should we punish them for it? also No.

The biggest reason why, is that you cant prove those people were not ignoring you on purpose, while having their finger on the Z key just to mess with you. (dont get me wrong im pretty sure my assumption is wrong, but you cant prove my above statement to be wrong and that why there nothing you can enforce).

I clearly understand problem with clicking software (oh, jammed key, sry).
Thats just report for IMC – if they think that 24/7 farm w/o any control and danger, getting items for deluge market is fine – ok. If not – here’s way to go.

There’s a pretty easy fix to this. Just disable drops if you’re +/- 20 levels from the monster.

Techinically, you can jam your Z key and go to bed. Technically, you dont have to be there and awake to have a z key jammed. Technically.

In the terms of use, there is nothing against “jamming the z key” that makes it illegal, therefore, technically, technical technique without the use of technically a 3rd party software…

Also, jamming z is not in https://treeofsavior.com/ts/

It’s not right - if you think about it, but IMC has no grounds to perform a ban.

Jamming Z is not in there. So no, they wont ban Z hammer jammers.

So you can’t farm for Collection mats when you missed out the chance to farm them?

Collection give you flat bonuses and they stack. The very basic one is the “revelations”, but there are more out there, you just have to find them - in a lot of maps"

Also, crafting requires you to farm mats. This is not a fix.

Most MMORPGs deal with this giving no EXP/Items when you have not moved in, let’s say, 1 minute.
This applies to parties as well, since you can double login and let the second char sit receiving EXP. So one minute of exp and then nothing, unless you move the char every minute.

That’s retarded as ■■■■

think before posting something.

Collections are shared between all characters. Miss something? Get it on your next character, or the next one, or the next one. It’s called a collection for a reason

Crafting mats: Same thing. Except, forcing high levels not to farm low level areas for “crafting mats” will allow easier leveling for lower levels, and it will boost the economy if the high levels need to rely on the low levels to produce their crafting mats.

It’s an even better fix now, thanks!

rather then these legitimate players you should try to catch real bots, like the countless of clerics moving around in a patern attacking and ksing the crap out of everything.

(Feretory hills was full of them last time i checked and thats a level 82 map)

Im cathing bots on my level locations, you do on yours. Makes sense?

So just to get this straight.

If i want low level mats, I have to create a new toon? If i over level, make another one. If i get full, delete and do it again?

What if the loot drops at level 50? I have to grind to 50 ALL OVER again? k.

no it doesnt since your videos doesnt show a single bot

I gave a similar example too:

If a player is holding the Z key while, say, reading a book… then they likely won’t reply as they are busy. And that could be for 8+ hours straight easily if it’s a good read =P (or maybe if you’re just a nerd like me I guess lol)

The point is though that there is no requirement for a user to reply to any chat. It’s an international version and some players may not speak english or even another common language. There is also no way to adequately restrict that function via the terms of service or eula because it would have to say something along the lines of “Thou shalt not hold the attack key whilst thou is attention is shared” lol how can they know if you are physically there or not? You could be reading. You could have trained yourself to hold a key with your finger while you sleep, so it may not even be jammed with a foreign object or by a mechanical setup. You could be holding the key while arguing with a partner for several hours. There are a million examples people can come up with that IMC simply couldn’t take action against because incorporating them into the terms or eula would look ridiculous. Because simply holding a key does not prove you are, or are not, there.

OP, bots or macros will perform a series of different things. A set of scripted actions that go far beyond just attacking in a stationary position. This is wrong and players with this offense should be banned. Holding a single key, though, is not an offense given the mechanics IMC has made (auto targetting, auto attacking, keep in mind this is the same team responsible for the huge afk game Grenado Espada where even there they illustrate that bots and macros are not allowed but setting your team to “attack” and “hold” is allowable).

The only way for them to stop this practice is to implement features or changes that alter how the system works already. And possibly even then they would still have to address classes and characters that can AFK farm without holding the Z key (pet/summon based classes) otherwise you give them a huge advantage by removing the only way other players can keep up. Or how fair would it be that a few classes can park overnight, with no input at all, and benefit from pet AI all night to gain exp, silver, and even drops if the player positions themselves well?
