i see tons of them dont think its bots just people useing the auto atk button and spears have long range so yea
No this one is a real bot, I saw him last night too.
I’m tired of all this report. It shows how people will attack another just because he don’t understand what is happening.
Seems more like you don’t understand. This is the current hack which lets you have infinite range. (can also teleport anywhere and do other things)
who cares if it is “real bot” or just push Z button. What rages me here most is that ppl defend the HOLD Z shitt.t
How the fukkk can you defend such a damn shitttt. Too much rage sry but srsly.
lol, sorry if i offend you but seems like you are the one that doesnt understand, he is standing in 1 point without moving and kill every mob in the screen, the mobs dont even attack him because he’s too away from them, i have been playing mmo since Jesus Christ created the first one, so please stop supporting this crap.

Because they makes use of it when they are going to the school or the work.
It’s a beta test ffs. You report the hack, not the user. That’s what I mean by you don’t understand what’s happening.
The more people is aware of this hack by letting this become popular (in beta), the faster the dev will know about it and fix it. If they don’t, there is no hope in this game anyway.
I would agree reporting the user if this is official.
You report both. I guess since it’s a beta, I can repeatedly abuse an exploit that lets me get infinite silver, or one that lets me spawn any monster I want in the game right infront of me, and then I don’t get banned when IMC finds out about it even though I had plenty of time to report it myself. I’m guessing you’re using it yourself?
They’re already aware of it anyway, and they’ve banned a user for using it before.
What’s the point of a beta if players can’t actually abuse the system so that the dev can fix it? Should we ban every user that’s abusing the system so that everyone will keep their abusing method and only use it during official release? Yes, you should actually use the abuse you said to benefit yourself. If IMC felt that it will harm the CBT, they will just do a rollback and fix it.
Also, may I know where is the proof/notification that IMC had actually banned the user?
To answer your question if I’m using the hack/bot. I would use it if I have it during this beta and is a melee class (tbh I know a few way of abusing it but didn’t use it because it’s not as useful as the hack shown). Sure, ban me all you want, it’s just showing that IMC is more concerned about hiding abuse than fixing them.
I should repeat again, CBT is a place where you find abuse and fix it, not banning the user that’s using the abuse.
There’s a difference between abusing bugs/exploits and hacking.
The former is not normally bannable in a beta since the point of the beta is to discover bugs to abuse and exploits in the game to patch up.
But hacking and the use of 3rd party programs is definitely against the terms of service and warrants an immediate ban.
There’s a difference between exploiting something and then reporting it to the staff, and exploiting something repeatedly and then not reporting it at all because it benefits you. I could see if this was something that doesn’t interfere with the gameplay of others, the economy, or the server. But constantly 2-3 hitting a large area in a zone where Questing needs to be done on a map with 1 channel while AFK, is not that.

IMC banning a user doing this exact same thing:

Shame on you. That’s a turn-off. :c
And, it’s a client-sided hack, so it can be fixed by just making all combat and position-related actions server-sided and add checks. Would be too much of a bother to implement that in during this CBT when they know it’s a guaranteed fix to the issue, and it would make gameplay even rougher for a lot of people with how unstable the servers have been.
Them banning someone for exploiting/hacking doesn’t mean they’re going to completely ignore the issue, and there’d be an even bigger problem if people were doing this in almost every map freely and IMC did nothing to stop them for the entire beta duration just because it’s “Closed Beta, where everyone can circumvent the system and hack freely without punishment!”

I agree I got hot-headed and made some unreasonable argument.
Most of your argument is reasonable except this. While we all knew it should be easy, I’m not sure if the developer of IMC can fix it. Please don’t forget how they fked up when they tried to fix the external program, but instead escalated into the IPF file error while stopping absolutely nothing.
Also, I sometimes wonder what IMC was thinking when they didn’t program those to be server side at the very beginning. Do they just don’t understand hacker will abuse whatever that’s available especially it’s this simple? Changing client side into server side isn’t exactly simple if it’s not done from the start.
Tbh I don’t trust in the ability of most MMO developer, as shown in the spaghetti code and abuse in most MMO, which can be avoided through proper decision at design stage.
Their past maint mistakes are questionable, but I can’t imagine them not knowing how to apply the prior-mentioned fixes, unless all of the Developers quit. Dunno why it’s client-sided to begin with either. Maybe since it’s INT-CBT and they were technically stress-testing by allowing any amount in during the first registration period, they wanted to go this method for a smoother game-experience for the players? Either way, according to this guy, the Korean version seems to have combat set to be server-sided (Yeah, I got all da links):
So less to worry about.
P.S. - I’m not literally searching through tons of posts to find links just to back up my statements; I have Eidetic memory.
OFF topic: The auto Z attack is included in the system otherwise they wouldn’t let it function that way.Dont hold grudge against players who doesn’t mind their electric bill if they leave their pc open 24 hours while a coin is stuck on the Z button. Everyone can do it so don’t be bitter about it.
I found there is a hack that lets you add infinite icoins and set your own xp through a client side interface… the developer of the hack said they are going to continue updating it too. The developers need to get on top of that quickly before they release the game.
I know which hack you are talking about, but does it works though, it seems more like a trojan than real stuff to me.
i met a party member who want to do a 175 dungeon run, he’s grinding on tyla monastery so i went there check his location on map by pressing M(minimap location of party members is buggy) and his channel. when i get there i couldn’t see him, but i could see his char pointer in area map(M) he dont even have a skill like cloak. i tried reloging and such (at first i thought it was a bug) but still could not see his char.
I’m just tired of seeing anyone abuse anything in any game anymore. Jamming a button down to afk farm is blatant cheating and I want to play a game where this is met with swift justice not pacifism. Maybe this is the wrong game for me (like every other game seems to be, sadly).
