Bot Report - Channel 1 Klaipeda. Bee Farm

So this is just miserable. Bot is higher level with decent gear and KSs everything. Ive mainly seen low level bots so this pisses me off.

Imgur

going by my checklist, this guy is not a bot:

  • gold farmer bot build of: cleric 1, priest 3, chaplain :x:
  • adventure score is ridiculously low for their level (5k or less) :x:
  • is not wearing crafted gear aside from Zachariel bangle :x:
  • has clearly not done any quests aside from advancement quests and anything leading up to Zachariel bangle :x:

looks like this guy’s just a jerk.

Or has built a character that appears to be not a bot and then sets his program to bot. Would it not be easy enough to make a character and then bot after you reach a point in order to farm more gold or materials? The character repeats the motions over and over for a good long while. The common bot gesture of not jumping, the lack of communication, the odd sense of not attacking monsters outside the set range of his programing (he ran back and forth in a set spot and never further unless ther were visible monsters. Monsters outside his range would not be targeted.

Plus why do bot have to fall within your classification of bots? Could he not have leveled and then botted? If I were to level my character and then bot would that not then fall outiside your realm of bot reporting? If so then your bot reporting is faulty and would only catch the simple bots.

Looking at the screenshot, looks like he was in Dina, which means he didn’t need to leave the room to begin with. Not jumping, not communicating, and doing the same thing over and over are also often done by a very large portion of players I see farming at bees too.

Bots DON’T have to fall within my classification, however my classification covers a very large portion of bots. If you’re botting for silver farm/RMT, then it’s horrendously inefficient to make a believable looking character when you can just slap another bot together in half a second and have it start farming without you having to so much as lift a finger.

Fair, however being reported as well as the mob density, silver per mob, etc etc do also factor into the person’s botting ideology. I mean botting while you are away or at work might just be as simple as trying to get in some extra exp. Efficiency might not be top priority. Not being caught might be. Now this is all theoretical, however I will likely say this character does appear to show characteristics to that of a bot. Being a jerk is a given lol another fact is that another character who I ran into also said this character had been there since yesterday. Although I know this could be excused by saying he was just grinding. There are far better spots to grind and gain exp than running back and forth for 5 seconds attacking everything. He was 23 levels above the mobs so I doubt it was for exp. Drops? Nothing that could be explained. I don’t know I accept your opinion on the matter however I would also like to get the opinions of others on the forums to see what they might think or have experienced in the past. I still reported him and will report others that show botting characteristics. Not all KSers are bots but not all bots KS. Botting is simply the use of third party programing to do something in game. Silver levels items whatever you want you could technically get from botting… (Except love lol).
