I just want to contribute that, no, you cannot see the actual potential of other people’s gear using “character info”. You also cannot see if their gears are upgraded or not.

Then why did @PrinceMark say that he could see actual potential via character info?

i do trade with my friends and i can confirm that it does decrease the potential.

anyway, if this bots have arde dagger then it surely means that they have a source except boss dungeons or they hunt bosses.

It’s not my intention to blame… but your post sounded like it was saying that the 7/7 potential on that Arde dagger in the screenshot @Jambulas posted was real and it sounded like you were suggesting that the bots were getting the daggers from boss dungeons or boss hunts.

@Dream and @Rennie245 are saying that even if you check another character and it shows “7/7” potential, that number might actually be false and might be “5/7” or “6/7” or lower.

So there is still a very real possibility that those Arde daggers that the bots are carrying were bought from the market or were obtained from trades.

This is right, modifications to equipments does not show when you overview their equipment.

When you view other’s player’s equipment, the potential don’t show up correctly.

And yes, the gold seller bought all the cheap Arde Dagger in the market for their bots.

This is sad. In less than 30 seconds I found 3 bots with arde daggers.

I wonder if they really are buying them off market or just found a way to dupe them…

Funny fact: all of them have ONLY hunter achievement and i’m nowhere near the 10k mobs myself yet
