Bosses Revamp - Best support class?

Hellow, fellow saviors.

Considering the lastest patch (https://treeofsavior.com/page/news/view.php?n=1057), i can see a NEW BOSS HUNTING RACE incoming and i would like to know:

What build can offer the optimal support for a DPS class in that matter, in order to be sucessful in getting a cube.

I guess Chrono’s support still being the best one (imo Pass is to OP, as you can reset almost all rotation of your partner, not counting quicken, haste and etc).

Im asking cause many people, including myself, do not have the money (or time) required to compete as a DPS’er on World Bosses.

What you guys think is the best?

Chrono isn’t that good as a support for world bossing. The Reasons are easy:

  • he brings low-no damage to the party
  • his buffs are very situational and dependent on certain Class specifications
  • his buffs do nothing for magic damage dealers
  • Pass only cuts 25-30 seconds CD off; strong skills have longer CD times in general

The budget option for support would most likely be a Cleric2 Priest3 Krivis3 or a Cleric2 Priest3 Diev 3/Druid 3. Noticeable would be Heal/Mass Heal/Divine Might/Blessing/Revive/Daino/Zalciai/Statue of Goddess Laima/Statue of Goddess Ausrine/Sterea Troph/Safety Zone.

As long as your party isn’t made of whales, it’s likely that survival will be the main issue rather than providing more damage/utility. And although Dievdirbys isn’t as good as ChronoC3 with reducing the CD times, his Statue of Goddess Laima is one of the best ways to reduce pesky high CD times steadily.

At Rank 9 it’s another thing,though, as Wiz3Chrono3Thauma3 will be possible, offering the best all-over support for everyone (more def with Swell Right Arm+shield, more atk with Swell Left Arm, more matk with Swell Brain, survivability increase & damage increase with Lethargy).

Something like Cleric 2 - Diev 3 - Miko - Druid 2 or Cleric 2 - Priest 3 - Druid 2 - Taoist, both increase survival while giving damage and increasing damage of everyone.

I agree with that, outside of Pass the Chrono builds don’t give nothing for bossing, specially because the Cryo part is useless in that situation.

And rank 9 Elementalist 3 + Chrono 3 looks really powerful too if the ofensive choices of the new classes and Sage 2 are bad.

IMO best is still Chrono because outside of pass you still need haste to finding/reaching the boss. Thuam-Chrono3-Ench?

Any well organized party with 1-2 dps and supports will do

Depend on what class you are supporting.
Chronomancer is still best for general classes support either skill based (Pass) or auto attack crit (Quicken + Slow).
A CryoChronoRC could be deadly as well if full INT/Matk, placing icewalls correctly would turn all others melee attackers become your support. (If placing wrong, you’ll get screwed and blocking others attack, if placing right it will be good win-win, but better not use it in mass public to causes more lag issues,)

However, there are some niche support like miko-taoist melee support, and warlock mastema holy damage support which would be in favor the potential of melee physical only.

Thauma favor best Matk Classes with 1H + Dagger, it still good with the rest but not that significant. Necro is best support for archer classes.

aiming is not only helping you, but all other tean dps as well, everyone can taste aiming effect

thauma and sadhu 3 is always welcome…also for ET. for a build youd have to define your circumstances…like do you have mates you play with constantly…do they need matk or patk, and do you need heals too blah blah. new bosses seem to actually deal damage so a dedicated healer would work too.

This, and that makes Falconer 3 a shitty suport in WB, because it don’t make your party kill the boss faster than the others.

Kind of scary for Taoist/Miko since you increase damage of people not in your party too, and it’s a mad scramble to get a top rank.

Also find it stupid that your heal tiles can heal randoms over your own party members.
