Boss rush: The game

I feel as if every mission is about killing a boss with huge HP pool and lots of adds.

7 out of 10 missions are about killing bosses, and for that you need a party. The problem is there aren’t enough players available most of the time, Gabija is pretty underpopulated atm. So, everytime I want to advance in the story or just level up, I must pray that there are players willing to help me with all these bosses.

I’m playing a Quarrel shooter, I don’t know for sue, but I think that’s probably an aggravating factor aswell, as I am pretty underperfoming against bosses.

What do you guys think?

I want a boss where I have to fight a clone of myself. It has all the same stats and equipment as me, and uses the same skills. :ok_hand: Although I think it’d probably not be too hard… :expressionless:

Would be nice if they had side quests with somewhat more intriguing story lines/dialogues because I’ve mostly just been skipping the message box.

More on topic:

I think bosses should be what they are right now, since they’re supposed to be strong enough where you need a party to defeat them. Or if you have the patience, solo them. I want them to have some kind of better drops though…

I don’t think a party is all that necessary. I’m doing fine with my solo archer

i am lvl 60, and let me tell you

ITS SO DAMN ANNOYING TO FIGHT THE BOSSES ALL THE TIME…

its a waste of pots

i am a swordx2/barb build,
so it litereally is super easy, but just time consuming.

worst case scenario, i waste 5 pots on a boss… other than that its same old repetitive thing…

But the thing is, when there’s a boss in EVERY mission, It doesn’t feel like a boss at all, just an overpowered normal mob.

Several bosses is fine, but almost every mission containing a boss is not.

If at least the battles were a bit more varied, but they all feel the same to me tbh…

@LoliLicker A very small amount of quests do have some interesting story. The problem is that the translations are so rough that reading them doesn’t really engage you in what’s going on.

And then it’s the problem with only having hunting quests… you can’t really create lore wise quests content when you pretty much only have 1 kind of quest (Ok, ok… yes… there are like 3 collect X item quests out there).

I personally don’t have that much trouble with bosses. They are the only challenging thing skill wise so far imo.

P1: Boring game, only questing
P2: Boring game, only grinding
P3: so many boss, huge hp, boring, waste of time
P4: why boss are to easy, more challenge, more fun.
P5: My archer don’t do “one shot -KO” buff pls (as every generic game)
ETC.

ON TOPIC: I prefer to fight bosses, to collect things (or kill mob) only for collect them.
If you need a party for every boss, that depends of your class and build i guess.

(Gabija UNDERPOPULATED? really bro? really?)

Well, the bosses are quite easy, maybe they should have more bullet hell patterns, with debuffs on hit and such, you know, perma CC or insta death mechanics.

I don’t mind fighting bosses, but what i hate is when i have to run from one place to another just killing trash mobs.

It would be great if bosses could be more powerful, much more strenght, people don’t put points on CON, and that should be bad. They should die from one hit, increasing the difficulty.

But yet, people shouldn’t party up for common quests, I’m hoping to see the instance on which i finish ALL the quests and start doing other stuff, like grinding, waiting for area bosses and such.
I just hate themeparks MMORPG, the lesser quests, the better for me. But sadly, questing is the best way to improve.

Yeah, underpopulated, or at least that’s what it feels like, the channels are rather empty most of the time.

The only real problem I have with the game is the bosses, not because they’re difficult or because huge hp pools.
It’s because almost EVERY SINGLE QUEST involves a boss. As I said, a boss here and there is okay.
But this is insane, It feels like true boss rushing.

Eh. I get what you mean. I mean, more variety in terms of questing would be nice, yes. Talking to people, making choices perhaps, etc. What are we going to expect though, most Korean developed games aren’t necessarily known for their engaging or ingenious questing/game progression. Heck, they already exceeded my expectations by having a storyline that makes sense, since I walked in here fully expecting to grind it out.

At lvl 70 I just feel like I’m already tired of this boss fights even some of them really hard and challenging its just too many of them, and I dont think its gonna change until top level. I mean, when quest involve something else like “ambush” or just collect and interact with some random objects I praise gods for not letting me fight boss again.

LOL, have to agree with the posts here, I’m only in the 50s and I’ve got boss fatigue already. Can’t imagine 450 more levels of this in OBT/actual game (seriously). I really hope things get more spread out or at least more interesting later…

This happened to me too. Exactly the same feel =(

I agree and there is nothing interesting about the bosses, other than just being a stronger normal mob pretty much. The content needs to be spread out and be a lot more diverse than what it is, because its just way too much. Even starting at around level 25~ or so you’ll be doing bosses, bosses, and more bosses. I know the game is supposed to be grindy, but its not even diverse enough to be even fun enough most of the time for grinding purposes. Its just another ‘hassle’ that people have to deal with, while they do the questline so that they can actually level up.

I sure am grateful of the nice exp, money and drops the bosses give. Most mobs rarely get a chance to use any of their skills on you (and some are quiet deadly even on early levels), since they pretty much die instantly. Which is awesome! How doesn’t like to pop those little bastards into pieces?

I don’t like that they feel like a huge time spender… It feels like they have that much HP just to make me stay with the boss longer.
Also, traps feel weird. That weird random shaped spawn… feels like the mechanic was quickly developed and poorly finished, because the actual idea behind it great! (limiting your available space to move)

Bosses right now are designed very badly. Most of the Bossfights i just stand there wailing on the Boss until he drops dead. For some of them i even went afk for a coffee, taping my attack button down so it keeps attacking.

My suggestion, make the boss fights short but challenging. There is nothing challenging about a boss with 20000 HP and/or defense but no damage. i saw people hitting the boss for 15 minutes without the need to dodge skills or paying attention to mechanics. The only reason they took so long, was the ungodly amount of def like 90% of all bosses have (1800 dmg on normal mobs and 300 dmg on bosses is really fun :unamused:)
