Bokor3 and Druid3 help!

I haven’t played in a while so I have a couple of questions for anyone who is Bokor 2-3 and/or druid 3

Did the zombies get all the buffs from Ktos? I remember we were missing the 3x damage increase and the Bwa Kayiman buffs.

How does werewolf interact with Bwa Kayiman and Damballa and Zombie capsules. I’m interested to see if the stats from werewolf affect these 2 skills.

we have not gotten these yet

Right on!

I am currently making the same build, Bokor 3 and Druid 3.

Was wondering a few things -

Should I go strenght/dex based for zombie damage?
Does the Lycanthrope skill scale with strenght or rather just with int?

I do not like the effigy/hex spam of bokor at all, I do however love the idea of a zombie army and its boss ( the werewolf! ) like being a boss ingame with his minions

Thus what I want to do with this build is increase the possible damage of my zombies to the max possible and know how I should build for that accordingly while also having a strong Lycanthrope form, any info is much appreciated!

Int scales their dmg via Ogouveve. (int x 0.5)
Bwa Kayiman scales via dex/str but requires you to channel it nonstop while running in circles. (can’t do anything else during it, zombie stats do matter for it)

Scales with Str & Int but can also crit via dex.

Neither build option is capable of fighting r8 mobs well enough tbh. They just have too much health and damage.

Well as it stand almost none of the classes are able to solo rank 8 mobs so its not a build I plan to use to solo but one that I will thoroughly enjoy.

So my stats do not matter in the slightest for zombie stats/damage, they only apply to said skills you mention Ogouveve and Bwa Kayiman?

One final thing, is the scaling on Lycanthrope the same for strenght and int or is int or strenght more favoured?

Ogouveve counts as a aoe buff, zombies that are affected by it have their dmg increased on your int. (only 0.5 x int)

Bwa Kayiman is a channel that forces zombies to follow you or dance in a circle when used. dmg of it is based on the skill and it’s str/dex scaling, not zombie stats/types.

Spr does affect their health iirc, but that’s all your stats do for zombies currently.

And I mean the damage is really low in general. For an int build zombies will barely deal over 1k dmg a hit. But you can deal dmg alongside it.

For an str build I estimate Bwa kayiman to deal around 4k-5k per hit with hengestone, but it needs continuous use. Good cc though.
Dex is not as good since it benefits less of hengestone, but you get more evasion/accuracy.

Str & Int scaling is the same for lycanthropy though.

Thanks for the information sharing Wurm it is much appreciated!

Bwa Kayiman do scale with zombie stat. Patch Note said this.

Thanks, wasn’t aware of this change.

How is zombie str calculated though? just from the mob?

It is just from the Mob or plus Ogouveve, so it should be easy to test by using Bwa Kayiman before and after Ogouveve. However it is good to know that Bwa Kayiman have some scales indirectly with Mobs.

I guess int builds would be better in the long run? you can still get decent damage off of Ogouveve+ Bwa kayiman and Stonehendge for farming but transformation spells do seem to benefit from magic more than physical (also heal/cure/plants/effigy/damballa being better and everything ).

If I do Bokor3 and Druid3, I would go with Int. I also will pick zombify too. For Bwa Kayiman, even it scales with Mobs and Int, I still just use it for knock down. Because it is a channeling spell, it will reduce your DPS when you at higher rank and need to cast more and more better spells.

Bokor/Druid should actually be better when going STR/DEX instead of INT.
The INT based skills of both Bokor and Druid (Carnivory and Effigy) are good damage but they are heavily reliant on placement (Sterea Troth on maps without grass) and debuffs (mobs not cursed can’t be damaged by Effigy, so you either need a high leveled Hexing to curse many targets at once or a rank in PD which makes this build impossible in the first place).

The main reason why one should go DEX/STR,though, is because it actually is the only viable option to give you enough skillpoints for all relevant skills.

  • Since you don’t need to invest in Effigy, you can put points into Ougoveve to increase your Zombies AoE-ratio and max Zombify + Samediveve. Hexing can be skilled at a moderate level to curse targets to create zombies more easily.

  • At Druid, you save points from Carnivory that can go into the transformation skills,Hengestone and werewolf. Since werewolf duration uses up % of your SP, you wont lose out for not going INT with some SPR.

  • Also, since the newer equips (especially the maces & necklaces) give tons of INT for Clerics, you can profit even without having much INT on your char, thus making your Ougoveve buff not that bad.

This is theory right? Not jumping on you but there’s a lot wrong in your info.

  1. Placement and hexing is not an issue, the only skill that truly suffers from this is cure.
  2. Ogouveve’s Aoe ratio is not really important and it really is a waste of points on STR/DEX Builds.
  3. Effigy isn’t important either later on but sometimes you need a filler you can use from a distance.
  4. Using hexing to create zombies is way too slow of a process, the aoe radius of hexing isn’t that great and the zombies should not be your main damage source at any point in your build.
  5. You have enough points to max Carnivory, Lycanthrope, Hengestone, Sterea Troth (people are still debating whether it needs to be maxed) and get enough points in tranform and at least 1 point in all utility skills.

Getting INT from gear is nice but not that useful because stats from gear doesn’t go into rank bonuses.

Also Hengestone doubles your atk/matk on transformation apparently further boosting Effigy, Carnivory, cure (and heal), Damballa, and werewolf damage.

  1. It’s not really an issue, but it’s annoying, and Hexing can be resisted, too. I’ve played enough Bokor to say that the Hexing&Effigy combo is really good, but it is annoying to use and spending points on Effigy on a Druidbuild feels inefficient(especially since you can’t max Samediveve that way…). Damballa is useles, too, since you don’t want to nuke your Zombies but use them to deal damage via Bwa Kayiman.

  2. Zombies AoE is not that important, but it’s better to have, because the Wheelchair and Large Zombies can benefit from it (the normal zombies are irrelevant later on). When the Zombiebuff hits ITOS, you bet the zombies are getting more important, especially since the draw the aggro away from you and can deal decent damage in a mass.

  3. you don’t really need long-ranged attacks on a Bokor/Druid,though. With high Dex you can dodge most attacks to stay in close proximity.

  4. It’s slow but it works well and is the only effective way to create zombies when Zombify is on CD. Zombie Capsules are useless unless you want to nuke them with Damballa since their stats are bad.

  5. yeah, but you can’t get a good level of Transform that way; Carnivory at 10 should be the maximum, instead, the points should go into Transformation to help you create Zombies while transformed, and 1 point into Telepath, since it renders enemies helpless for 11 seconds and you can crowd-control your enemies into your Carnivory field;
If that’s placed on your zombify-circle = viola,up to 11 new zombies at once xD

Both Int and Str builds are acceptable in theory. However the Int build look more like i would love more because Damballa is not useless.

I’m gonna leave almost all your points up to opinion because I’m not at werewolf yet but you can max everything you need in Druid. Transform only needs level 7 at most.
Hengestone is debatable according to people to max but even at max you only lose some points off of Chortasmata.

15 points carnivory, >1 Chortasmata, 1 shapeshift, 1 telepath, 10 Sterea Troth
7 transform, 5 lycan, >1 hengestone

Also damballa is so not useless. It does the equivalent of 25+ zombie attacks per zombie exploded with 0 attribute points. If you damballa over zombify you’re left with a good amount of zombies anyways because not only do the mobs turn into zombies immediately, sometimes the attribute creates zombies and explodes them again. The potential for growth on this skill is insane with transcendence and attributes. I was doing 4k per zombie right out of the job change (that’s 60k damage at level 127) and you do even more damage with it on hexed mobs and divine might. It’s really great in dungeons with tanks especially.

Bwa kayiman when it comes to damage is a farming skill for mobs that are much lower than your level. After level 230, you’re better off just using it for the CC and lining up your zombies.

When it comes to range I’m more worried about magic.

My concern with DEX would be more for druid than bokor. With the math that is out circulating the forums, werewolf clears the min required atk for making DEX much much better than STR. That means you can go all DEX because your skills will be spammable with little to no need for other skills to be weaved into the rotation. On the other hand going magic path lets you deal both significant magic damage and physical damage (since werewolf uses matk to calc its base atk) allowing you to choose which you do (in case you run into the godly mdef mobs).

So if someone with experience can share
DEX

  • werewolf damage is physical and so can crit
  • werewolf clears the min atk required to make DEX > STR
  • you have “no” magic damage to speak off
? is the werewolf rotation enough to ignore your other skills?

INT

  • werewolf transforms matk to atk so INT investment isn’t lost
  • more veratile in damage type
  • [henge stone] is sort of like “magic crit”
? can gear make up for lack of DEX to crit
