Bokor Zombie - build advice

Hi all,

Realese incoming and i’ve never have the chance to play in CBT.

I need some help about the Bokor.

The “zombie skills” look fun and i want to know if they are viable.

Here my first try build  :

It’s look like ok for you or something will not work ?

Thank’s by advance for yours answers.

I’m not an experienced Bokor player but I try to tell my opinion.
You have more magic attack skills in your build than physical so I suggest you things for an INT oriented build.

Cleric
Move at least 2 points from Deprotected Zone to Cure…or maybe max Cure instead of DZ.

Krivis
Move 2 points from Zalciai to Aukuras ( to unlock its attribute ) or 1 point to Daino and the other where you want. Zalciai scales badly and you get all of its attribute with lvl 3.

Bokor
Bwa Kayiman is a physical skill it would be better with physical oriented builds I think. So you could simply put all those points onto other skills.

Get Ogouveve that uses your your INT to give STR to your Zombies. Also it gives an additional debuff on nearby enemies I think so it should be good for Plague Doc. (I can’t tell if you need lvl 5 or not I think with at max level 4 you would get everything you would want from that skill)

Get at least lvl 1 Mackangdal. Why would you skip a skill like that? (Also stepping in Safety Zone before the duration ends reduces its damage)

The rest could go on Hexing or Effigy or Mackangdal.

Druid
Fine.

Plague Doctor
Blood Letting is quite a good skill…but I dunno how the skill point distribution would be the best to get that too.

Which debuff? In tosbase can’t see any debuff in the skill description

Its attribute.

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I do the modification :

I’ve another question, Samediveve and Ogouveve can be activate in the same time ?

Yes they can be active at the same time. For a zombie build I would max Samedieveve and get Ogouveve at least to 4. Ogouveve’s damagebonus scales more than poorly (at rank 2 +1 str for your zombies per rank -.-), but it will increase their aoe attack ratio by 3 at level 4 and I think by 4 at level 5 with Divine Might aktive (not confirmed!). I would switch Krivis with Cleric 2 for much better healing and Divine Might, but its more a personal preference since i don’t like Krivis at all :stuck_out_tongue:

One point in Bwa Kayiman can be very handy for zombie positioning, but Ayalon is right, this skill is meant for physical classcombos.
Keep in mind that Bokors are very weak in areas like dungeons, when your zombies die to fast because of aoe. So finally getting to Druid and Plague Doctor could be painfull, if zombie survivability doesn’t get buffed.

Gonna start by saying that after looking at both your Bokor T1 and T2 builds, I don’t know what you’re trying to do with this. But, going off your “Bokor T2” build:

  • Cleric C1
Consider taking 3 points out of Cure and adding it into Deprotected Zone if you plan on including SPR into your build. Which will be very helpful (Both Deprotected Zone for Bosses and SPR).

  • Krivis C1
You don’t have Priest in your build, so Daino at Lvl 4 isn’t really necessary. Consider taking 2 points out of Daino, and putting them into Aukuras.

  • Bokor C1
Oh boy, I don’t know where to start with this. I’m assuming you did this on accident. But, why do you have 0 points in Hexing and Effigy? Out of the 15 points you get for Circle 1, you’re only using 3.

  • Bokor C2
    Same mistake as C1.

  • Bokor C3
You used all your points now. But we have issues here. I’ll point out the issues, and then give you a fixed version of these 3 Circles based on your input here.

  • Hexing shouldn’t be at 1. Putting it at Lvl 5 will allow you to hit 5 or 6 targets at once. So it should be at least 5 (Honestly, 5 should be the max for PvE and PvP).

  • Zombify raises Zombies, and Zombies are needed to make use of your beloved Damballa skill. 8 seems to be a little too low, so consider raise it to 11 for full use of Damballa

  • Mackangdal does not need to be at 5. Either put it at 1 for PvE, or put it at 10 for a PvP-specific build.

  • Bwa Kayiman needs to be at 1. You won’t be using it to deal damage since this is an INT build, but it is very useful in moving your Zombies around behind you. That’s pretty much it. So just 1 point.

  • Ogouveve does not need to be at 5. Maybe one day when both Zombies and Ogouveve get buffed again, but until then, leave it at 1. That +AoE Ratio for Zombies isn’t worth losing out on 4 points.

Build re-worked (Only use the Bokor Circles):

  • Druid C1
    This is fine.

  • Plague Doctor C1

  • Remove 2 points from Healing Factor and 2 points from Pandemic, since you need to spread these out to your other skills.

  • Bloodletting takes 2 points, since this is a necessity if you take Plague Doctor, since it prevents your party from taking debuffs (Of up to Rank 2 status).

  • Fumigate needs 1 point, to use in emergencies.

  • You have one point left, you can either put it into Bloodletting or throw it back into Pandemic. Shouldn’t be a need to put any points into Beak Mask as long as you keep your distance.

Thx for your advices.

Here the build with the modifcations :

XDDD You wouldn’t like to look at my builds then. I know it can be important…but I never cared about the other circles if I’m going for c3… All I need to see is the goal… X)

@Naugrim Zalciai still should just stay at lvl 3

Take Ayalons advice on reducing Zalciai to ‘3’, since it scales badly with levels and only needs Lvl 3 for the attribute. Other than that, your build is fine.

How I think your build looks:

Hi! @Sixaxis could you state why it’s needed to level up Hexing past 1? On the simulator I could not find anything that says that levelling this will increase the affected enemies (every point just increases duration and few points to mdef subtracted).

I didn’t had the chance to try Bokor during iOBT, so any advice would be great. Thanks!

Lots of skills have hidden effects when leveling or paired with other skills

Like Mega said, certain skills in the game have hidden effects/boosts that aren’t stated on the skill itself. I stopped leveling mines at 5 because 5-6 targets seemed enough for me.

@megamanex14 @Sixaxis thanks for the info then!
I’ve to rework my build a little then!
