Bokor and Inquisitor synergy (if there is any)

@Sixaxis Going to bother you a bit bud.

I started another cleric and was going for Pardoner, I’m at R4 Priest C3 and I’m thinking in change from Pard to Bokor (really love the class now, my little miko Bokor C3 PD C2 is top DPS almost all the time when I’m not knocked back like a ping pong ball, even against Taoists).

I saw someone asking the same thing in another thread.

Do the zombies hit the wheel? And what I mean is, do they go for the wheel also like it does for Tree Roots?

I might change from Inquisitor to something else depending on this info.

I want to know it too but because of the wheel hit limit… I don’t think it would be good actually… Unless the zombie attacks magically wouldn’t count in the hit limit.

There is another possible synergy btw that most likely malleus strenghtens zombie attacks on the debuffed enemy… but that should be tested too… :x

Yeah, well aside from that, If they at least go for the wheel, it would be worth it, i mean, when they attack sequentially (one after another when stacked) I wonder if it would trigger the wheel as a rapid fire, if that happened, it would be really worth it, even if it counts towards the wheel hit count.

But I’m almost sure that hypotheses pass far from the game design lol.

As for Malleus, if that works too is a bonus.

I’d rather question if Tet Mamak La can hit the wheel. If yes, it would be awesome, because if you have a large or wheelchair zombie, they don’t pick up the skull, which enables you to stack up skulls onto the place of the wheel (which would induce the rapid fire effect you’d aim at).

Afaik, at least the Tet damage is influenced by the Malleus debuff, so if you can stack Tet with Malleus and wheel, it could become the ultimate killer combo (+ you don’t need to invest into INT for the build to work) and be a top synergy between Bokor and Inqui.

This would also make Bokor C1 a viable choice as Bokor C1 can already get Tet Mamak La and the attributes for Zombify to create wheelchair zombies and large zombies.

Anything for members of the fold!

They don’t go for the wheel. Even if they did, the amount of Zombies you’d need focusing on the Wheel to deal decent damage and the hit-limit of the Wheel makes the synergy of it weak.

It does. Still doesn’t make the Zombie DPS good because of the sudden spiked difficulty of the 300+ maps, but Tet Mamak La spam + Malleus on a Boss that’s Dark attribute (Effigy dealing 50% less damage) is nice.

Only the initial throw will hit the wheel, and not the DoT hits afterwards sadly.

That’s sad; It would be nice to know if the +elemental damage% attribute from Joint Penalty is also included in the scrolls; if yes, it’d still make a great combo with Malleus because as far as I remember the skull deals poison property damage, so it’s affected by the damage increase attribute of Joint Penalty.

Malleus>Joint Penalty>Hangmans Knot>Tet Mamak La times x and watch them die xD

Attributes are not included in scrolls from Enchanter.

Thanks man, well, its a shame we can’t create some crazy functional builds for fun lol.

I think I can do anything crazy tho, since my build initially was for Pardoner, so I’m CON:SPR / 1:4.

But if I don’t find anything interesting I will stick to the original plan and go Pard C3 Inqui.

To be honest you could slap inquisitor at the end of any build and be fine, but bokor has better synergy with PD2.

That being said, there is no synergy between these 2 classes.

That’s actually pretty sad since you can always “slap” any R8 classes to anything. You can “slap” PD here and there too, but in the end, you will essentially play the class you slapped.

Case and point being a Sadhu 3 not using OOB anymore ever since hitting Inq, which is bad because you can be a DEX Archer for all I care and still be a good Inq.

Yeah, well I got a Bokor 3 PD 2 with miko in the middle and it pack a good punch.

I was thinking in something different, this new char, if I will take Bokor 3, I plan on going Zombify 15, no Effigy and Lv 5 Hexing just for an extra zombie creation skill.

Now I’m wondering if the zombies receive Blessing too, since @Sixaxis guide don’t point that out (if it is on another post in the same thread I’m not sure I don’t feel like roll through 1k+ posts lol).

If it does, that would increase their damage well since it is a SPR Priest, I know at Lv 200+ or a bit higher and up, they won’t doo much difference, but almost 20 zombies to tank stuff while you hit it with something else is nice, also as @Sixaxis pointed in the guide, they pull aggro so I can take even more mobs at the same time.

That is what I’m trying to avoid in this char, since zombies damage fall off too much at later content, I need something to give a help, even if by a small/medium margin, with Blessing that would be ideal, and if some other class I pull in there help a bit more, that would be perfect.

I still think IMC will rework Bokor, specially the Zombify.

I think that Inquis is semi-unique in that way…i.e. you can’t just slap Tao at the end of anything and have it be good.

You kinda need the Kriv3 synergy for Tao to be fully effective.

Only from other Priests unfortunately… so you can’t bless your own zombies. Other Priests most likely can because of the additional target attribute of Blessing…but why didn’t imc make it work on your own zombies… hell knows…

Aww damn, ah well so I guess I will stick to Pard 3 Inq in the end.

I was thinking in change Pard to Pally but idk, comparing Decatose with Turn Undead, Decatose win by a large marging: lower CD and have a chance of 1-hit-kill any type of enemy except bosses.

I’m not sure if Turn Undead work on bosses tho, probably not.

Just as a heads up, when I came back to the game when someone told me there was a Rank Reset, I reset into Pardoner C3 / Inquis just for the fun of it (Meaning I didn’t care whether or not it was viable since I just wanted to laugh at people getting one-shot). Decatose Wheel is really only sort of viable in PvP, but other than that the 10% is a pain in the ass. I gotta test to see if Joint Penalty makes all the linked mobs die if one of them gets the proc later.

I doubt it work through the link, well its better than Turn Undead I think, it work on any mob race.

Would be nice tho, if the effect ran through the wheel killing everything that take hits.
