Well, I was out questing when I suddenly found a blue mob. I was trying to gather up my party when someone came and stole it. You don’t know how pissed I’m about this.
Map: Spring Light Woods
You should understand that KSing is common. Nobody has ownership to a monster.
You can’t do anything about it in this case tbh…
And do you expect us do something about this?
I hope you learned your lesson.
No, I just wanted to share this so that no one does the same mistake.
What mistake. Anyone who sees a blue mob will go for it. Be faster or lose it to someone, thats all there is to this.
You snooze you lose.
I lost a silver garlok that drop a battle bracelet, to a freaking bot.

to a freaking bot.
[/quote]That one is more rage worthy
Though they could make “protection” of sort that exp and drops go to person who first attacked it or at least to person which dealt the most dmg (except world bosses obviously).
No they can’t. That just changes the issue from ksing to tagging. Then ranged characters abuse tagging. Atleast with Ksing the melee characters have a better chance.
Well it works for most mmorpg - why is wouldnt work in ToS? Besides they could just “equip” Swordsman c1 with some skill which causes instant charge or instant “hooking” the enemy from a distance or just increase their movement speed a little (some class attribute for instance) or ranged debuff (a lot of choices).
So why change a problem that allows split xp to a different problem that wouldn’t. It just sounds worse to me.
Blue mobs are for everyone, I would suggest the prize drop from blue mobs share equally to everyone. . . for any healer or support and tank, not only the one with highest dps.
Kill first or cry like a baby.
Well not a big problem in my case (w3/ele3/war) though its dumb if i make 99% of dmg and someone gives last hit and take a drop … Should be at least that someone have to dmg monster for minimum x% of dmg to take a loot.
It seems to me the one who does the most damage gets the drop and most xp. I think last hit is only for quests?
I remember an IMC staff mentioned drops is by damage dealt. Quests always seems shared to me, I’ve tried killing mobs that other players 50%-ed but I still get the quest count. Maybe there is a “tag timer” on it, not sure.
this sounds like a problem with your party.
meanwhile, why didn’t you engage the mob yourself?
and if you’re not capable of engaging mobs by yourself, why were you away from your party?
I hope you learned your lesson. If you see a blue mob, kill it ASAP. Same with white & gold.
Other players have no obligation to wait for you to gather your party.
