Block while mounting, is it possible?

hey im trying to make swordsman>peltasta>barbar>catapract

  1. can i use 1h_spear+shield? (you can see that im not into hoplite path)
  2. if yes, can i do block stance (peltasta guard) while mounting?

  1. No. You need to go Hoplite because you need this attribute:

This is because Cataphracts use 2H spears with this attribute:

  1. I don’t know about this one though if you go Hoplite.

have we confirmed if we can use the C block while mounted?
my impression was that we couldnt

If they do an update for I’ll stand corrected, but at the moment:
You can use all skills while mounted, as long as you have a compatible weapon that that skill uses. Though skills which require you to move like for example Rodelero’s Shield Charge can’t be done as it requires you to move while on mount. They might update it later on. So right now you have to get down from your high horse if you want to pull it off. Also you can’t use Cata skills while unmounted.
