Black screen flickering when reapplying buffs

Description :

When reapplying certain buff effects a short black flicker(for about 100ms) can be seen on the left side of the screen. This seems to only happen when certain circumstances are met:

You have to load a new zone whether by entering another zone or changing your channel or logging in from character selection.
You cast the buff for the first time and there won’t be any distubances, when you apply the buff effect for the second time you will see a short black flickering, exactly when your buff icon gets overitten by the new application, on the left side of your screen.
If you manually cancel the buff (by right clicking on the buff icon at top left side on your screen) before reapplying it the flickering won’t happen as instead it will happen the next time you override the buff by reapplying it.
The flickering will only happen exactly one time per reloading of the zone(changing channel etc.) when the first conditions are met
The flickering seems to be independent of the zone you are in
Turning on/off attributes that affect the buffs (eg. Finestra: Splash) shows no effect

I’ve tested it on two of my characters and so far the following buff effects are causing the flickering:

Chronomancer C1 skill “Quicken”
Chronomancer C2 skill “Haste”
Peltasta C1 skill “Swash Buckling” which applys a selfbuff called “Provoke” (Increases your maximum provocation)
Hoplite C1 skill “Finestra”

Steps to reproduce the issue :

Start the game
Regardless on which map you are use one of the skills listed above
Use it again while you are still under the effect of the first application of the buff (your buff needs to last longer than the cooldown of skill which applies the said buff, meaning that for example you have to have the skill finestra at least on level 7)
The flickering will occur exactly in the moment when your buff (buff icon) gets overwritten by the new application and will only be seen on the right side of your screen
