Beware of players impersonating GMs, just happened to me

Just had a guy threaten me over and over again with a ban because I was farming the spot outside Tenet Church (where the mage circles are). He literally told me to “stop botting” or I would be banned. I asked him if he was a GM and he never answered directly, but he kept insisting I would be banned for farming his spot. I feel like he was just trying to intimidate me so he could farm more experience. What a joke, players are going around threatening each other with being GMs. Screenshot attached, beware of people doing this crap

Send the screenshot to support so they can ban him.

Just did thanks for the tip

Is that pet yours? I don’t think names like that are allowed in most mmos. I don’t know what’s IMC’s policy on drug advertising but you might end up getting problems if someone reports you. The higher level you gain, more likely it becomes as there’s more trolling value in it. Just pointing it out so it won’t come to you as a nasty surprise later

‘‘You won’t survive next patch day’’
Ey this bitch thinking these things go by a day of the week, it can’t even get that part right!

Not to mention the whole GM attire thing.

It is my pet. I looked for a pet name change option 10 minutes after I named the pet and couldn’t find anything :\

Oh, too bad for him, he won’t survive through his crap.

Coffee is a drug too, never heard of players getting banned because of that?

Sex and violence/threatening language I can understand. But a big deal over drug language in a public domain?

Its 2016. Sorry not sorry.

On topic: impersonating GMs is stupid.

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope IMC is lax on it’s name policies then. Have you tried asking from customer support whether this is a problem already? : /

Gladly I didn’t ask your personal opinion about this subject nor I have interest to talk about it with random strangers. What I wanted to do is to warn that other player out for possible hardship ahead. You can imagine how much it would smart to get lvl 200+ and get some kind of sanctions only because of possibly inappropriate pet name, right?
