Better what IMC can do for players - is open code and age of private servers

I guess your suggestion is to have IMC make TOS open source and let pservers handle the game?

Do you really believe that it would be realistic or good for a game development company to spend tons of money and time to develop a game just to make it open source and have pserver-people leeching off that companys work?

Yes… at least the private servers are doing what IMC could not do and probably be better that original…

At this point in time, I’d rather have a way to make a Linux and Mac OS Clients for those who have those type of operating systems.

Private server will kill the game faster. It will sastify you for few days but will make you feel bored soon. It also divides the players base which is quite small already

35 000 + ppl in 03-05.2016 vs 3 500 ~ 5 000 players now. Game dead already. And not cause players - ppl still believe and want to play game AS ToS. But still exists lags, microfrizes every 10 secs, lags which enlarge latency, few content, havent interesting (i dont say about BALANCE) PvP and PvE…
I think Ppl who play in this game play it cause 2 reasons:

  1. Nostalgia
  2. Play under mushrooms or something, which make this game amazing in our BRANES (not reality) and bring us beleive in advertising (and all knows that advertisement everytime much better than reality, or simple advertisement = is a lay)
    .
    Oh, i’l forget about third part of players - lovely bots, which help us keep up illusion of alive game. (RLY, i’m thankful to bots for not dead auction, and stop hate them afore May)

You dont need to believe that, it is happening with iTOS right now. It is a fact.

open source company can still make monie

but a dead TOS will not make any more monie

closed-sourced or open-source is just different business model

i dont care if TOS is opensourced or closesourced, just fix da damn game.

Only reason why I’m still here is because I invested so much time into it already and met some people here. If IMC can’t get their ■■■■ together, I wish this game just dies so I am forced to quit.
