Beta test area opinion

IMO the beta test area should be visible and usable by beta testers only.
beta opinion should be made only by beta testers.

I’m really tired of ppl that are not in the beta saying the rate of exp is alright even tho they haven’t experienced it 1st hand.

“but that compared to RO is fast”, remember that there is 400 or 500 level not “only 99”, and no one but you will remain playing for 1y to get to max, what if they don’t like their last class choice? will they need to grind for another year?
the game need to profit from more than 2 players.

a grind of 4+ hours to get 2lvls is not okay especially at the start of the game.

well… not moving away from the topic that I myself made. That area should be made “special use for beta testers only” since no one will benefit from biased opinions.

I agree. I wouldn’t complain if they’d add some ideas or anything but all I read lately from people who are not even playing the beta is: “beta testers are QQrs, xp rate is fine”

How can you even say that if you’re not playing?

Yeah that makes sense.
Then again I’d also like beta players to ask things about the beta in the beta discussion. So many talking about xp rate, and in-game questions in general like the numerous “cannot connect to server” posts right now.

I’m actually surprise that they didn’t make the Beta thread private to beta tester only, the same way many big game publisher does. This way they know they are getting valid opinions who actually have tried the game.

As someone who work as a GM in the past, I’ve seen the same person making a bunch of alt account pretending to be different people posting on the forum saying the same thing over and over to voice their opinion and manipulate the views of other.

That would be good, but since our forum accounts aren’t actually connected to our steam ones there’s no way of actually telling who’s in or out.

The one that got beta keys directly from IMC, they have the beta key link to their ToS account. As for people who receive extra keys, they can link their steam account to the ToS account, which I’ve done already.

Another good and obvious idea :stuck_out_tongue: But I think it’s kinda too late… Threads are already filled with people that didn’t receive keys - well they have more free time so I suppose there is a whole bunch of them. It’s easier probably just to filter messages made - if it is possible at all.

they are what we call, ‘attention seekers’ (to those who never played iCBT or kCBT and are complaining what is good or what is bad or it should have RO features etc.)

This is not RO’s identical twin people~ a few features is nice but too much and worthless

The xp rate is stupid especially once you hit around the 70s and especially for your class lvl in the CB and I do think it shoulda been a bit easier, but I don’t think they should buff the xp rate especially in the full release or open beta because, basically it would be saying “go ahead and cap yourself so you can quit after you’re done with the game” however the CB is a CB and would be wipe anyways, I don’t see the point of making the xp rate normal or lower unless they’re trying to keep some stuff hidden that was put into the ICB so only a few high lvls can find it or unless they’re planning something and about the beta, I’m glad that this is a beta only right now, I’d cry if this was open beta or full release.

exactly, they should quit complaining about exp rates, this is beta and not every data is implemented, so is translation, we should focus on bugs, not the exp
