I know there is lot of topics about that, but after two days of research i ended up with another opinion - is my idea valid ?
Basically I´m looking for best option for EleLock => pure magic DPS
Ended up with this list (sorted from best to worst):
- Regard Hord
- Vienarazis Mace
- Vienarazis Staff (cannot have offhand)
- Windia Rod
RH is best, but needs to have 2 practos and its hard to farm - otherwise is just BiS.
More interesting is VM(Viena Mace) vs VS(Viena Staff) vs Windia.
Found lot of topics were obsolete because:
a) Transcending is adding Magic Attack to VM (which probably was not true back then)
b) not covering min/max atk bonus is applied to magic attack as well.
c) anvil enchant is adding Magic Damage for VM as well
VM is great because lot of int added - which compensate lower base(raw) Matk then VS/Windia have (not talking about it can be used for another char - nut thats not case of this question)
and all enchant/trans things are applied in a same way
Plus when you equip VM or Windia - you can have dagger as offhand damage boost (not sure how much it helps though).
Also - if min/max attack works for matk as well - then is another plus for VM because of stat (and also it seems to me,
its better to put red gems in even its for a matk-base char **)
VS is also great, but u will lose capability of having off-hand dagger. Assume anvil boosts are the same (and trans are same too) ?

As said - found lot of topics covering that, but lot of things/formulas have been changed =>
these does not seem to be valid anymore.
My question is, am I correct in those persumptions ? Is that right ? And last - is really VM the best one-practo weapon for pure dps-char char ?
** is it really better ? having 7* gems its either +310 max atk (/2 as avg dmg added => +155) or +144 matk for blue => red is better anyway ?
