Hey guys i havent played tos since the beta and just wanted to start again i want to go full support/buffs/heals etc… like a high priest in ragnarok online is there like a guide or already made skill tree for that? Also i know that leveling will be hard for me but can i still solo or need to find a party to grind? Thanks a lot!
Cleric, priest, priest2, priest3, chaplain, oracle, plague would be good, able to solo quest n support in party
A ful support should at least have cleric c2 for more heal boxes. Search around the forum for full support builds. There should be plenty of them by now and pick which one you like.
You shouldnt go chaplain as full support
Chaplain in full sup build is just going full retard imho.

It’s good, it’s just a full support CHAPLAIN build.
You can get even more supporty by removing the Chaplain though your own damage will drop.
The strongest support class, only caring about support and nothing else is probably Cleric2, Priest3, Oracle/Krivis, PD.
Oracle supports more than Chaplain, but with Chaplain you can actually kill stuff yourself.
There are full support chaplains that can do good in earth tower level 5

That is one of best full support build. Mind you that leveling gonna be pure hitler if you decided to solo things.

Interesting guide you posted, but it is partially outdated already. The most important change kTOS already has and we hopefully also get soon is the Blessing scaling. Bless15 is a must once we get that patch.
I would give the character alot more CON, cause you can not support anyone if you die from being squishy, especially when wearing cloth. Personally, I would always wear plate in parties.
Leveling is doable. Until about 215 zones, there are only a handful of annoying quests cause the mobs have either high HP or are flying mace resistant. You still need to bring patience, cause onehit bombing like Wizard or Archer is not happening. It is a good idea to also carry around offhand dagger and maybe even Cafrisun set which you only equip for solo questing.
As for the whole “why not Chaplain” discussion: Is it the nonexistant glamour of playing a hidden class? Guys, Priest3 does not automatically mean you take Chaplain as well. The class is good for soloing, but falls behind other choices in terms of support. And thats not surprising. The increased solo power of Chap has a price.
Bottom line, I also took Krivis as the R6 filler and do not regret ignoring Chaplain one bit.

Ya old post, Chaplain gets you 230+ faster, but priest needs diano. So many good buffs late game that you need the room. Scrolls are nice 2 years from now when everyone has maxed attributes and nothing else to spend silver on.
