Best "Summoner Type" Build Class [PVE]

Iv’e bee seeing people who can summon bats, zombies, templeshooter, skeletons, and other big monsters. But what’s the best build for that kind of class? Please provide build link. Thanks

Wiz and Cleric classes have classes with summons. Wiz exceeds when it comes to summon-centered builds. Go to the Wiz forums and look for a Sorcerer/Necromancer build around your playstyle. Just remember to sink most of your stats in SPR.

ATM, only Wizards and Clerics can summon minions.
Wizards can summon a demon (which doesn’t look like one it looks like a black mist lol), and a weird flying red thing with the sorcerer class. They also summon skeletons and a weird tentacle thing, and an eyeball statue with necromancer class.
Clerics can summon a zombie, a weelchair zombie, a giant zombie, and can also “summon” a laughing monkey skull with the bokor class.
IMO if you want a class that haves aid from its summons, where they fight alongside you to boost your dps, then Necromancer is the best its summons do REALLLY high damage, then bokor, then Sorcerer. But bokor has better dps than necromancer imo because of effigy and damballa, it also has a fast speed buff.
For builds
Wiz>Cryo3>Sorc>Necro3 is cookie cutter necro build
sorcerer wont be too strong in this build because it doesnt have riding
For bokor
Anything with Bokor3 is good, even bokor 1 is good, but bokor2 atleast is reccomened Oracle can make it easier to summon giant zombies and PD can spread hexing easier to boost dps

Any wiz build focusing on maximizing summons would have Sorc 1 Necro 3 as the final ranks, and of course Wiz 1 for the first rank. That just leaves 3 ranks in between, which really leaves you with only two decent options at this time. Cryo 3 for Crowd Control (more for party support than your summons. Your summons will be so tanky that they won’t need crowd control with the possible exception of ice tree to bunch things up, but ice tree’s CD is loooong), or Wiz 3 Link 1 (Thauma 1 doesn’t boost summons and Ele 1 is just terrible by itself) for Quick Cast and Sure Spell to use alongside your Necro AoE skills and an improved Energy Bolt and Reflect Shield. And of course, linking.

Choosing Cryo 3 gives better party support while choosing Wiz 3 Link 1 is better for solo farming (Reflect Shield on a summoner SPR build is a pretty good party support skill too if you have the buff slots for it)

Although Sorc1 Necro3 was the common build before revamp, sorcerer is a lot stronger now and the utility riding provides is way better than the extra summon and flesh strike skill that you get from necro 3.

The best summoner build in PvE (dps-wise) would be Cryo3 (or Pyro3) > Sorc2 > Necro2.

Remaining points are due to personal preference.

Cryomancer:
Some people like to put a lot of points into ice pike because it is nice filler damage on things with large hit boxes. You will probably be using this skill fairly often compared to ice blast anyway since it doesn’t require setup.

For things like ET and world bossing, having a high level Ice Wall is nice. If you have pardoner shop buffs and a decent weapon (and chapparition cards), ice wall provides a nice burst if you’re teamed with someone that can hit it a lot of times.

Subzero shield is excellent for PvP, but not really as noticeable in PvE. It requires you to get hit, but sometimes the freeze can be good for when you’re riding.

Gust is meh.

Sorcerer:
Attack ground can cancel hold, but it’s not really that necessary since it does basically the same thing as hold. To cancel hold without attack ground, you can ride, morph, or resummon your devil.

Some people like putting both points into Summon Salamion and Summon Familiar to have more “balance”

Others think that putting one point into salamion is enough (he does high enough damage with just one point, and this allows you to max out summon familiar for the good burst damage). Salamion does higher DPS over time, but Summon Familiar is definitely more bursty. Salamion has a really annoying AI that is slow to attack.

Necromancer
Just one point leftover in this circle…you can put it anywhere and it won’t make that much of a difference.

If you use this build, use temple shooter as your primary card. Necromancer’s attributes give shoggoth and flesh cannon ability to apply decay debuff, which will double the damage of your Temple Shooter (and any other missile type attackers in your party). Does not work on bosses.
