I am just trying to what shield would be best to enchant with gems for a lvl 75+ swordie. I was thinking about the Ludas shield but I am not sure where to even find this shield.

beetleback seems to be ok. there’es also sage’s wall but that recipe only has a 0.01% of dropping from venucelos
You should save for Beetleback shield, 75+ Shield and has good stats. Easy to find the recipe in lv90 Dungeon.
10000 mobs with average luck… good luck hunting one.
The Shield recipes are too expensive(to hunt) at this point for you to worry about it , get round shield and focus on leveling , spend this additional time getting the end game gear.
These shields are just meant to be “lucky” finds.
Furthermore…
Even if you’ve got beatleeback recipe as a present, you’re still going to be either paying fortune for ingredients or spending DAYS farming them. For a lvl 75 Shield in a 500lvl game? Not worth the effort.
Ludas if you dont want to farm Varv skin forever.
If you have 15 varv skin, beetle back.
Sage if your nuts, and for some reason need SPR or magic defense at that level.

didn’t look for sage. i went with the beetle. if ever i’m gonna look for the sage it’ll be just for selling purposes most likely and i was really lucky w/ the varv skins when i was farming got 15 within 2hrs really felt RNGesus with me.
How hard was it to find the recipe for it from the lv90 dungeon? Im trying to find information on what drops from both the lv50 and lv90 dungeon but I cant find a single thing on what you should be looking for there.
