I’m looking to make a build around multihit skills, what classes would feed that role the best? I really love the items that give the extra elemental attacks, and if I understand correctly they apply to skills as well. I guess what I am really asking is what class has the highest hit skill with decent CD’s?
Priest C3 + Chaplain
Pyro + Chrono
I wouldn’t really count Quarrel Shooter because Running Shot isn’t an additional hit. It looks like an additional hit but is actually just part of the normal attack.
Lots of Archer classes have multi-hit skills. Multi-shot Lv15 is 16 hits and has overheat. Magic Arrow has 25 hits with 5s cooldown. Wugushi can stack alot of DoTs creating tons of hits.
Thanks for replying so quickly, why pyro and chrono together specifically? Just for pass or as an AA build with quicken?
I have never played chaplain, they can be good dps?
Pyro for Enchant Fire. Chrono for Quickening. Note that wiz’s normal attack is matk based and has no weakness.
Priest + Chaplain is one of the best DPS builds for Clerics.
or
I assume the chaplain would be better since he has 3 skills that give additional damage vs the pyros 1? The pyro definately interests me, just not sure how viable it is.
Choose the one that fits your playstyle.
Pyro isn’t just about normal attacks. It’s due to the multi-hit nature of all Pyro skills creating synergy with your “add elem atk” gears. You will most likely just do auto-atks in between cooldowns. Chrono is very good for party play and is actually quite a recommended class for World Boss hunting because they can make them respawn.
Priest + Chaplain is just auto-attack machine. Gameplay of course includes supporting the party.
Would the wizard build suffer a lot from replacing one rank of pyro with linker?
So a build like this: Wiz > Pyro C2 > Linker > Chrono C3
Cleric C2 > Krivis C3 > Druid C2.
or
Cleric C2 > Krivis C2 > Bokor > Druid C2
Class progression would look like:
Cleric > Krivis > Krivis > Krivis/Bokor > Cleric > Druid C2
If you want the best multi hit character.
Archer 3+falconer.
16 hit* mob count= opness~
As Multishot can hit unlimited amounts of mobs, when they’re aoe defense is reduced to -x.
Other nice skills:
-broom trap (roughyl 3 hits/sec 20 seconds uptime. AOE)
-punji trap (flung enemys bounce and damage themself and others. Mobs0,5 pyhs atk3~5 bounces [visual lag… xD to many numbers]
-stoackades 3 hits~
-collar bomb ( aoe hit on a small scale. Level * Hit count. Level 5= 5 hits to all)
-barrage+ feint= 10~15 hits on mobs from previous 5.
-etc.
Care to elaborate on this build please?
If I was to go archer, wouldnt fletcher be better since magic arrow hits 25 times and has a 5 second cooldown?
Should be fine since you don’t need to max Enchant Fire. Enchant Fire should stop at Lv6 for 100% uptime, Lv5 is a scam and has like 5-8s downtime. Also, make sure to get Joint Penalty gem eventually, it will add 1 more target.
Cleric:
Safety Zone = you want to protect yourself while casting all those skill on the ground.
Heal = multihit burst skill, also a good skill to have at later game for sustain.
Cure = multihit ground skill, also helps against most annoying status effects
Note: both Heal and Cure get double benefit from Int because of additional scaling. Cons are that they cant hit airborne enemies.
Krivis:
Zaibas = multihit skill that hit both ground and airborne enemies, double benefits from Int as well. Cons - somewhat long CD.
Aukuras = can act as AOE aggro skill for ground enemies. Long CD.
Daino and Zlaciai for for melee support
Bokor:
is taken so you can have another offensive skill while other skills are on CD
Hex = curses enemies and prevents them from healing.
Effigy = 0 CD spam skill that hits every enemy affected by Hex.
Druid:
Chortasmata = grass, grass everywhere!
Carnivory = multihit ground based damage skill
Sterea Trofh = offers some time of protection, good when staggered with Safety zone.
You may want to take Priest instead of Bokor if you want to have more party support and ability to revive them.
You asked for multihit build - this path has plenty of them.
Thanks for the replies guys, I have 4 character slots so ill try them all and see which one suits me best. I already started the pyro-linker-chrono, almost pyroc2. Going to start the chaplain later today as I see blessing has a damage attribute that goes up to 100, seems pretty good as none of the other enchant skills have that. I’ll mess around with the druid and archer builds after that!
