Best method to reach Rank 7?

Let me just begin by saying that my current goal is to reach Rank 7, as I will be moving to another house about 3 weeks from now and will lose internet access for a while. Anything after Rank 7 is just a bonus. I’m also not sure if this is the correct subforum for this question, and I apologize in advance if that isn’t the case.

My current level is 195. I know that my target level is around 225~227. My question is: is there a way to reach that level with no grind or, more realistically, minimal grind? I play on Telsiai, and Alemeth Forest is usually packed, so I’d like to stay away from that as much as I can.

I am asking because there have been people going around saying that it is possible to use cards to get all the way to 230 without any issues. At what level do I start using my cards at if I want to do this?

I’ve also heard of the many doom-bringing enemies like the Brown Rambear and Blue Spion Archer. Would like to avoid these if possible, but if I can’t, I’ll deal with it somehow.

i’m 168 and would love to know this also, i need rank 7 asap !

possible depending on the stacks of cards you got from doing dailies in mercenary post. But really, I suggest getting into Alemeth Forest whenever you can. One long grind session then use your exp cards, and you might get to rank 7. tip: avoid eldigos, they give terrible class exp

Ahhh, blue spion archer…the nightmares omg when I was doing dailies there.

To TS, did you complete the quests on maps above Fedimian? The vedas plateau, mesafesla (iirc the names) are excellent places to grind a bit too, they are soloable due to the low mob health compared to alemeth forest. Complete all the maps there (map range go up to 214), do the wings of vibora and you should hit around 21x level.

After that is pray that the server gods will pity us and let us go in the 217 dungeons without playing the rhythmic spacebar pressing mini game.

Grind, grind, grind and wait oh ya grind

It’s very hard, if not impossible for me to be able to grind Alemeth because of Telsiai being overpopulated. When the map is free, I am usually asleep, and so are most others. I would do it if I could, but it is just not an option.

I was told that no one does the 217 dungeon, so I thought it would be similar to the 160 one where no one even queues for it due to bad XP.

With respect: that does not help to answer the issues here. I understand that the community is divided between grind lovers and grind haters, but as things stand, grinding in Alemeth is impossible.

Alemeth LMAO you got 3 more grinding spots after Alemeth Forest and there is 0 quests from that point. This is where most players will either quit the game, make new characters or grind all the way to 280.

From level 232 you need to grind all the way to level 280.

Please read the opening post, thanks. My goal is just to reach Rank 7.

To get to rank 7 you need to grind in Alemeth Forest from level 210 - 225.

Level 225-227 is where you get rank 7.

Please read what I wrote the first time thanks.:grinning:

I explained to you though, your only hope is really your exp cards and alemeth forest, despite being full, it generates a lot of exp, about 0.1-0.3 per truffle depending on your level.

if you are getting 5x Lv9 exp cards per day on dailies then you are on the right track onto Rank 7. keep going.

I grinded on blue spion archers too because I needed some stuff, It wasn’t that bad, the only time it will be is when there are multiple spions aggroing you, but not close to each other.

I already know this, as explained in the opening post.

What I am asking is if there are alternative methods to reach 225~227 without grinding or while minimizing grind, because I have a limited time frame to work with and would like to get it done as soon as possible for peace of mind.

There are people who have said that it is possible to reach Rank 7 without grind, so this topic is meant for them to explain how they do it.

you could also tell what class you are, might help a little with our suggestions

Alright. I suppose with the map exploration and enemy kill count rewards, it will help ease the burden.

Forgot to mention the class, actually: I’m playing a Cleric. Specifically Cleric 2, Priest 3, Chaplain.

if they told you is possible then why haven’t tell you already?

I guess you can grind daily missions, mercenary missions and level 200 dungeons every day and try to get all the maps 100% completion and the monster bounties but its going to be longer than the actual grinding in maps and way harder.Especially when you hit the monster with like 100k+ hp and you need to kill 230 of them to get one exp card (<<<— still consider grinding)

So at the end you need to grind

ohh in that case I won’t be able to suggest a lot more places, but you can get into vedas plateau at 205+, mobs are very easy and pose no threat, just ignore the lepusbunniess on the left side of the map.

That’s what I’m wondering as well. Whenever one of these people says it’s possible, they never share their method when asked. I don’t know who is making things up: the people who love grind, or the people who hate it.

And with the current Telsiai situation, either way is the same. Grinding maps are packed to breaking point and lagging badly, while daily missions and dungeons won’t let anyone in.

The difference is that missions and dungeons get done sooner, while in grind maps the situation tends to be unpredictable. Your party might decide to quit, or another party may come around and KS. This puts a huge dent in gained EXP.

But thank you for your response. I will also try to get an EXP calculator so I can know when to stop grinding and start using my cards to get straight to Rank 7.

I may resurrect this post in a few weeks or whenever I reach Rank 7 to update on the number of cards needed and what level one needs to be at to use them.

Nah, you can get to 240+ easily without grinding (just not efficient because you’ll eventually run out of cards and have to grind the remaining levels).

All you really have to do is 100% explore all maps, do your daily dungeons and mercenaries, and finish all your quests. Once you’ve done all the quests up to Cranto Coast explore every available higher maps which would give an extra 57 lvl 11 cards (get help from your friendly neighborhood chronomancer and priest because you are going to die repeatedly).

It has other way to reach rank 7 without grinding at Alemeth but it is time consuming and need a ton of Exp card especially lv8 lv9 lv10

To do this you need to be level 205 and prepare lv 8 9 10 exp card
205 to 217 you need 239 lv8 and 88 lv9
217 to 225 you need 139 lv9 and 66 lv10

Now I have 90 lv10 card left need 17 lv11 card to skip 230-236 curve I will end up at level 239 without any grinding (will be level 240 after 1 more map exploration still have around 50 lv 11 card left).

I got most of exp card through quest and map exploration few from kill achievement.

here my char

Yeah, I figured the post 200 quests would be a deathfest. I am a Cleric though.[quote=“arkgolf, post:18, topic:248412, full:true”]

I can get behind this, thanks a lot. Now I have a plan.

Just do daily missions, dungeons and quests and use cards. You will get 225 in one week. Best method ever.
