Whee is the best place to farm Gems these days???

if you mean coloured gems, they don’t drop anymore except from specific quest bosses.
You can get them from the Kedoran Alliance NPCs in town for exchanging either silver or ancient gold coins.

If you mean farming gems for leveling other gems, the gem abrasives that usually drop on maps suck outright, they are limited to level 3 abrasives.
You can get better abrasives by doing weekly Uphill Defense (5 star or 6 star, depending on difficulty) or buying them from the reward shop for mercenary badges (2000 badges per 7 star abrasive, no limit).
