Best DPS dealer for World Bosses?

What class/stat build is the highest DPS dealer to world bosses(Assuming max attribute and max equipment)

I’d GUESS (since i haven’t tried them all) it’s something around musketeer(A2-Qs3-Musk) or Wugushi.

Rogue with capture shenanigans so you can be a one man Chernobyl.

There also the good old flecher,elememe or even a rune caster with pp+iw if you are feeling lucky.

I Don’t really recommend wugushi they are just like the highlander (from the movie, not the class) … there can be only one.

There also the wild card known as thaumaturge.

No party has 2 wugus.

But you gotta admin, Wugu 3 has such a high over-time damage that it’s extremely good vs bosses.

Also, single burst from musk with a2-qs3 RS+Kneel filler is pretty good too.

Frost Cloud 5 + Flame Ground 15, dropping Fireballs 15’s
That’s a lot of hits.

31 from FC, 40 from FG, 15 x2 from Fireballs every 15s. That’s well over 100 Hits in a 30s Time-frame without cooldown reduction.
Hail on top of that.
Drop 10 Fire Pillar and 5 Hell Breath on top as well.

Wugushis overwrite each other dots don’t matter if they are in the same party or not, making then a poor choice for competitive field bosses.

Well, Wugu classes are rare to find these days, so… might as well.

I guess I’m going continue with my rouge then, I just hate going in for going shotgun barrage/backstab then die if I lag/misplay

Archers dominate 280 world bosses since all of them have mass ground dispel (It’s bloody annoying for caster classes). Sometimes they spam it sometimes they don’t use it so physical based classes have a more stable DPS when dealing with these bosses. QS3, Fletcher, or Wugushi (assuming there are no other wugushi’s around).

As for every other world boss warlocks have it easy since they can just plant down a spell and it will die in the next few seconds. World bosses at lower levels die so fast you’re lucky if you manage to get in some hits.

You can’t capture fireballs since they are not Magic Circles. They are considered “Objects” like Frost Pillar from cryos. :sweat_smile:

Almost none of the above is correct.

Top Builds -

  1. Thaum2 (Reversi steals everything, has multiple overheat, uncontested with Chrono Pass support. Can often bug cube drops possibly and cause only 1 party to get cubes.
  2. Ranger3Fletcher3 or some variant (Must have Fletcher 3) doesn’t really benefit from Pass
  3. Ele3Warlock (ONLY if they are able to land their abilities without a Thaum present, with a Thaum they literally cant cube)
  4. A2R3SR2 (Requires Lethargy and very good gear/attributes just like fletcher, can cube against Reversi where Fletchers and Ele3s have issues)
  5. Diev Doctor (c2diev3druid1PD1) can cube dullahan almost every time with attributes due to bonus damage, hard to Reversi, requires boss to be stationary. Benefits the most from Pass. Very big difficulty cubing on mobile bosses without bonus damage.
  6. Some runecaster icewall/kino build (Gimmicky, has to find the boss immediately upon spawn, but with help from a monk can 100% cube dullahan)

There are other builds that may be able to cube here and there, but if enough of the above builds are present then you have virtually no chance. Every group doing the event bosses require a Chronomancer to ensure their DPS get to the boss early enough, without it they are rolling dice on top of rolling even more dice on spawn locations.

Demon Lord are not very different, but qs3 builds and some swordsman builds may be able to excel due to high contact time on bosses such as Rexipher that drain SP constantly. This is remedied by proper healing support/revives/kabbalist SP battery/passing sp potion.
