I was thinking about creating a new char and I was looking for some DPS builds.
It’s gonna be a full PVE char. Archer or swordman.
I was about to make a Dopple but I’ve read in the forum about the huge nerf of cyclone so I stopped just in time.
Any idea? Thanks!
what exactly do you want, single target dps or aoe dps ?
Maybe aoe dps is better. I’m not that interested in boss-killing.
I’d like to use use this char to farm orange mats as well…

It can provoke more than Pelt and farm better than Dopple.
It also has immunity to being IMCed

Probably plague doc or pyro linker is what you are looking for, both require agny tho…
I was looking for an archer/swordman build. I already played them both anyway 
Doppel’s are still completely viable, but if you’re looking for another AOE build, Hoplite-Dragoons work well.

PD by far is easiest solo dps class, that can solo most of the r8 content.
But for swordsman/archer you are looking at:
Hoplite3 dragoons.
Sw2 Barb3 doppel
Sw peltasta 2 rodel 3 (shinobi/sw2) murmillo.
Archer 2 ranger scout fletcher3 mergen
Canonneer is about to be buffed as well
SR3 is a solid choice too, but all that requiers gears.
I have a hoplite3 drag2 I should say its good at bosses but suck when it comes to farming.
Doppel might be good but cyclone cd is not low and requires a lot of investment.
Murmillo again requires too much silver for attributes. But is good as far as I know.
Idk about archer viability but I must say if you aim pve farming you shouldn’t go for swordsman. (talking from experience 
)
I can’t say how archer aoe dps performs (still working on building mine), but the dev’s information about Cannoneer looks promising.
Anyways, Quarrel Shooter C3’s Running Shot makes leveling easy peasy. Swordsman are relatively slow.
If the plan is to only use it for 315 item farming, and you don’t want a PD/Pyro, you can go for something with Wugushi in it or maybe a Schwarzer Reiter.
Since you’re aiming for those end game high hp mobs, wugu would do you well. Very high single target dps with little investment for it. Just get some aoe classes to make up the difference.
QS3>W2>C2 is a popular build and cannoneer is getting buffed alot soon.

If he’s clever he’s not the owner of IMC but just an employee with a fixed income, so he doesn’t get IMC’d himself if IMC capsizes, since in South Korea you are liable for debts of your own company and can face private bancruptcy/insolvence in the process xD
