Best Classes for Dungeon Solo Farming?

dps clerics and swordsmen can solo dungeons fine

Clerics in general due to SZ + Heal. Allowing a huge margin of error and low downtime.
C3 Cleric, C2 Sadhu, C2 Druid shouldn’t have any problems between
Cure 15, Possession and Carnivory.

There’s C1 Cleric, C2 Krivis, C2 Sadhu, C2 Druid as well but it’s less safe and can’t ignore certain parts of dungeons with Fade.
Damage is better however.

To solo with the efficiency of a non optimized party in an high level grind map (8m exp/hour), specialized build is needed though.

Any swordie can dash. I think some people refer to it as sprinting. Double tap the direction buttons and off you go!
What kind of build is good for that, then? Can a STR-focused archer2>ranger>scout3>rogue1 do it?
alrighty, thanks again for the info.

Formerly some time ago one of the fastest full clear builds involved Scout C3 and Split Arrow. I know in KR they were able to full clear the 130 dungeon solo in around 9 minutes. This is long before systems like Transcendence were put into place.

Guess I wouldn’t be too surprised all things considered. High evasion to dodge what is mostly physical attacks in this game and Cloaking to get between packs quicker.

The best builds for this task are mobile ones with low downtime on skills. You can be as strong as you want, but if you’re killing packs nigh instantly and have to wait on skills to come back up it’s not too efficient in this regard.

Not that full clears are really worth in our version anyways.

Depends if time is not an issue, Sorc C2 or C3 with a high level card is very safe, not to mention alot less taxing on gear repairs by sending pet in then going to read forums till pet clears a group.

As for lower dungeons, any decently high level dps can pretty much run thru them right to the bosses (Dg90 solo farms are popular for this, even with such a week drop rate u never know if u might get lucky for an Arde drop that alone is like 800k+)

Scout3 and Fletcher3 are the kToS popular builds for this purpose.

From what I understand, Scout3 with full dex / bonus points in CON is the best class in the game for solo play, especially quickly clearing lower level content with Split Shot and melting bosses with double flare + Split shot and double damage barrage from feint burst.,

I believe the build is Archer > Ranger > Archer2 > Scout 3 > Rogue1.

@SecondNoob that’d grant good survivability, but you lose out on a lot of damage by going full DEX. For Scout3 > Rogue1 in particular, you can have enough crit rate with equipment and Sneak Hit alone, to the point full STR builds are viable and still crit a lot if enough money is invested on equipment… so just going full DEX is a waste.

But it’s true @Dream’s Scout3 > Rogue1 build is op farming in general.

Can you even make good use of sneak hit while soloing?

@tampon you should ask Dream about that as I don’t have any actual experience with it… but I’d imagine so if you went Scout3, considering Cloaking exists.

you are a tampon and you are asking if u can make good use of sneak hit while soloing? cmon

I’m referring to the meta build Wiz 3 Ele 3 Warlock.

@Mirarara oh, okay. Just anything that has op aoe/dps to grind as fast as that then.

@Stormrider suggested classes for bosh rushing then? What’s needed other than the obvious burst bossing a Diev3>Druid>PD or Cryo3>Kino>Runecaster provides?

Pretty sure OP’s more concerned about efficient solo money farming in dungeons than how that farming is done. And if this is better done in iToS through boss rushing, then that’s that.

Boss rushing is more efficient with a group so it doesn’t matter too much what class you go and it’s really easy to find a party or get one going yourself. It’s the quickest and easiest when you’re like 20+ levels above the dungeon though so maybe that’ll help you choose which ones to rush.

I only play swordies so I can’t speak for other classes so for swordies I’d say the following would be the quickest for solo boss rushing:

Sword3>Pelt/Barb/High>Corsair2>Shinobi (my build)

Sword>High>Hop2>Corsair2>Shinobi (pierce debuff from High and Hop2)

Sword>High>Hop3>Dopp1>Shinobi/Dragoon

Reason being the dungeon bosses that are actually worth rushing wear leather instead of cloth (minus the 90 boss) so pierce damage will serve you well.

@Stormrider really? I thought it’d be the same line of thought as for full dungeon clears, that if you’re in a party you have to split the drops.

Thanks for the input though. did HL even have a pierce debuff, i had no idea

Everyone on the map when boss dies gets a cube drop.

Boss rushing is better done solo, since it’s much faster then finding groups if your character is solo viable.

Based on my experience I would say the best soloing classes are archer (you can avoid nearly all boss damage) and cleric (healing, good sustained/burst damage)

For wizard and sword you would need more specialised builds to solo some of the dungeons.

For dps, only meta build allow. Others just thrash.
