So basically, I have just returned after 6 months without playing, and i was wondering, what are the best classes for CM right now in new maps from episode 12?
From what i have seen, these are the top build for each class:

BB and Mergen are best dmg now. But Scouts and these WizardsBuilds are good too.
fat swordman can solo stage 7 cm 420
i think mergen-falcon(with full AOE ratio gear) the best
Fastest CMs I’ve run so far had:
1- Priest-Diev-Oracle/pardoner
2- Ranger-Fletcher-Mergen
3- Barb-Doppel-BB
4- Tao-Ele-Pyro
5- Hunter-Falc-Mergen
Ideally, either the healer or mage would switch characters to a Thaum-Enchanter and give all the buffs to the party. Enchant Lightning is a +80% dmg increase(thanks to Tao) to any physical dps in the party, very very good. Ele-Pyro loses in dps compared to BB and Mergen meta builds, but the CC from Hail and Firepillar makes up for it.
Tao-Ele-Pyro for mobs, Ranger-Fletcher-Mergen for boss
This video isn’t the best record because of the plant boss at stage 6.
SR can still make the job.
Musk-Sap-Falc if you look for something off-meta. It can solo 420 CM7 as well and also does very well in 420+ CMs
You can be whaled and still die
There is a frequent misconception that you cannot die in stage 7 if you are overgeared 
Unless you are purely specced in the defensive aspect like evasion, block, CON. Crowd Control effects also work in a great extend to protect your team from taking damage , or speed up your killing by gathering the mobs together.
It is indeed the party synergy that differentiate between a 3 minute or 1 minute stage 7 run.
Best class is Oracle-Diev-Priest hands down, simply because you are always on demand. Everyone is always looking for a healer+support to complete CM6-7
