I don’t see linear improvement would make people choose them. They got to double up every 7.5 levels. At level 8 and 15, they should increase more to attract people, particularly, there will only be 3 C3 for every character, C3 skills should be above average. C1 skills should be below average.
Eg. Divine Might, they should +2 skill level at level 8.

Just want to mention that kirvis is actually really good if paired with a linker friend. Linkers get added attribute damage on links from lightning damage and zaibas only needs to hit 1 of the linked monster. Together they will shred mobs! A wugushi paired with a linker is nice too, thanks to the poison attribute on links. I wish joint penalty, for linkers, had a shorter cooldown though. 15 second to wait on links is kind of long when mobs die in 1-2 seconds lol. Most mobs outside of dungeons will die fast anyways.

… What… the last thing linkers need is buffs lol they are fine or possibly to strong as is.

They’re useless when having nothing to link to though. This makes their use limited in boss fights in general.

Yes, linkers are weak when they are solo fighting an enemy that summons nothing.

Most bosses do summons stuff though, even plain traps will mean 2x damage on the next five attacks you make.

o god now you sound like the archers that complain about not having aoe auto attacks. Its called a specialization, classes have them. Accept what yours is or change class.

I didn’t mean to come off as complaining. I was trying to make the exact point you were making. They are a very specialized class, but I believe to be pretty balanced overall. That was the point I was trying to make.

This is just a point of clarification because I don’t know, does that do double damage? Traps only seem to take 1 damage, so it would barely contribute (except for the bonus of attributes of being linked to things)

The linked damage isn’t reduced by defense twice. It gets ‘transmitted’ as if it had targeted the new target from the beginning.

It doesn’t matter if you’re attacking scenery that takes x hits to break, or your fireball which you can’t do damage to at all, anything linked will take full damage, as appropriate.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll have to watch for that and see if I can notice the 2x damage on bosses once the next time we can play comes out.

Link + Fireball + Zaibas = Win

The fireball won’t fade unless it collides with the boss/trap/spawn. And until so, happy attribute extra dmg :wink:

Its not that clear cut in this game.

Yes I played it up to only lvl 170+ since the experience wall hit me XD. I know what ypu mean tos have a very unique class system that you can be different types of tank DPS support or even combination of those, my point is your party should have atleast those types and not all DPS from what someone suggest here.

I think it depends, I am not sure you need “a tank”, particularly CC class has been effective, but you still need sustain across your party. Healer is a must though.

Actually depending on what dps this can make dungeons and lvling very easy lol.

If you want to sum it up to a minimum, you only need one healer and a dps with cc. Lets say the cleric is a c2 sadhu with possession (binds up to 5 mobs and does dmg for 10 secs) and the dps is a mage with linker (hangmans knot).

Draw 5 mobs -> link/hangman -> possession -> draw 5 mobs -> link/hangman -> possession […]

Actually, thats it. With a reasonable amount of vit, these two get every dungeon done pretty well. Even heal is enough, its just the 2 of them anyways :wink:

And eventually for PvP, you need CON / HP for each one, so it is best to have an extra hybrid heal (or simply two hybrid healers) along with a DPS or CC class.
