Being oneshoted by bosses (Bug?)

I’m a Peltasta C3 lvl 108 and been doing some quests to get EXP cards, entered a boss fight, it had lvl 70 and he onshoted me while pressing C (guard). So I was wondering if this was somekind of bug, 'cause the tree boss in the Siaulai mission has done this a few times now, I thought the damage was normal for that kind of boss and level comparisions, but sometimes he just crushes me while having 16k of HP with just 1 hit, and always when I hold C.

I mean it’s kinda impossible right? for that damage to be done with a boss like that and my level.

There are some bosses that have a kind of reflect shield or flip laid skills to their benefit, i got killed by Abomination WB on Graveyard on my Krivis at level 150 and the boss is only level 50 or 60.

K. Seems like its not a bug tried it again, can literally blow me with just one attack. But just with that one, the others do me like 50-100 damage or so.

you should capture video of it, and post it here.

it reinforce your point and provide entertainment for forum dweller lol

This boss is a special case, it has a coma attack (reduce hp to 1 if you have safety wall, insta death if none, and it’s magic which you can’t block). I died twice before knowing what hit me.

Mythology wise, taken from heroes of might and magic 3, gorgon has the capability to kill it’s prey with death stare.

I’m not near the traps, look at my buffs. And I’m not jumping because I can kill the boss easily without having to avoid the damage, but then again, he uses that attack and blows me.
I’m uploading the video so you will see what I mean.

13k damage, yeah since the damage is white i can say that your character literally killed itself for some reason.

Maybe now he learned to not underestimate level of monsters LOL.

Just because you may be running on a tank build or is higher level than what you are killing, don’t mean you have to take hits, you are supposed to keep the enemy on you but do avoid damage as much as you can, for your sake and for the sake of your party.

Some bosses can “shotgun” you also. Its an attack with multiple hits that if you stand too close may hit multiple times at once.

13k damage that’s impossible.

especially from quest bosses and on a tank build.

i only take around 500 damage max from quest boss as wiz with full cloth armor so this is indeed a bug.

Lol I got One Shot by this same guy on my 120 Cata with 12k HP. Lesson learned, I now dodge that attack on my Alts. Haven’t died since. (The first time he caught me in a lockdown on my Cata.)

Same bug appears in ktos back in January, I’m surprised they haven’t fix it yet. Seems only low damage class noticed it lol, seems to happen if you dragged the fight over a period of time.

This guy has Death Sentence as a skill and another skill that is a OHKO. Learn that as a paladin with revive active …
