Just a beginner in ToS playing as a Cleric(c1), Krivis(c3) following this guide on tosbase :
The guide says to put all my stat points into STR. Can someone explain to me why this build utilizes full stats into strength only? I see that the build has Zaibas and it seems to be a spell? Currently at Krivis c3 and just wondering if i’m building my character properly. Thanks in advance for the tips and advice!
Krivis is not your main source of DPS, it’s Zealot and a bit of Paladin, that is why it utilizes STR.
Krivis main role in that build is for melstis to extend Zealot’s skills duration (mainly Fanaticism and Fanatic Illusion).
Yes, zaibas is a magic type damage that won’t be utilizing STR, it’s for additional skill rotation while Zealot main DPS skills are on cooldown. (But hey, if you got good weapon, zaibas doesnt need to utilize on STR)
Zaibas drains your blind faith fast and that’s its use for the build.
@advbd Thanks for the input! so str doesn’t affect any damage from zaibas? Thanks for the explanation of the build btw. I find myself running out of mana really quickly and just end up auto-attacking lol. (I’m only krivis c3 right now). I’m guessing it’s a very sp potion heavy class. Not beginner friendly I’m assuming?
@Lostac Sorry, but what does that mean?
Blind Faith has 40 hit limit, zaibas with DM has 20 hits each charge.
Two zaibas eats all your blind faith which bursts down bosses really fast.
no DM means you have 2 hits left, can be done with AA/Fanatic Illusion/Immolation or whatever you want, your blind faith already did the work.
Zaibas is a magic attack so it scales with INT. STR is for physical attacks.
