In that case you are assuming that every player out there knows what a channel crash is. But youâre wrong. I bet a big part of playrers donât know what could cause a channel crash or how to distinguish between a server crash, a channel crash crash and a disconnect by the clients fault.
And just like that the support canât assume that every player who is claiming that something bad happened that that player knows what heâs talking about. They have to assume that the player does not know how the game works and start from there, including assuming that people who claim a channel crashed donât know what theyâre talking about, and they must check first if itâs the clients computers/clients programs fault.
You may not like it, but thatâs standard procedure.

Of course they didnt say it directly. If they are eager to fix the problem, or atleast stop the cheater, the first thing they should say is âplease provide information for further investigationâ and carry out the investigation immediately.[/quote]
Iâm pretty sure thatâs what they said : âCheck if the problem is on your side. If you did that and it happens again, please contact us again and provide some information so we can start an investigationâ.
In fact, itâs exactly what you wanted, except with the small detail that the customer should make sure first that the problem is not on the customers side, which is not unreasonable.
Imagine if any problem, regardless of the channel crash issue, was on your side : would you want their programmers waste their time for weeks, which could be used for actual game development, trying to hunt down a alleged bug in their server software when later it turns out it was a problem in your side all along? Wouldnât it be more efficient to first make sure that the problem is not on your side?
Yes, you might know what a channel crash is and you might know what youâre talking about, however the support canât assume that you know what youâre talking about.
Again : If companies started an investigation every time some client reports a problem even though it could be the clients fault those companies would waste tons of time and ressources trying to find the cause of a problem on their side that may not be there, hence why they make absolutey sure that it could not be the clients fault before starting investigations on their side.
Support is trash, programmers trash too. Pretty sure IMC will fix it eventually but for reference take a look at how long they took to plug hookers64 hidden slot abuse.
Well I did specifically mentioned its only channel 1 that crashed for a few times. Not sure why should they suspect my internet can cause only one channel to crash or constantly disconnect. Whatever it doesnt matter anymore. Good thing is at that time, all the other 13 âplayersâ in that channel are bots so it probably didnt bother anyone other than my friend who was afk that time and me who was trying to try my luck with some GalokâŚthis is why you will never catch the hackers red handed.
They wont fix â â â â for a long time, they busy with Wolf Knights.
