It’s from a stupidly boring card game called Star Era lol. I found on Kongregate.
eh I was going to, but there ended up being a lot less than what I would have expected…so I decided to pass on it

They’d be interesting to collect as far as a gamification aspect, but they seem too simple and sort of…boring to be honest.
Not too sure how the invite or share features work, but there should be more contribution based badges aside from inviting people.
Not to mention I think the flag one is a bad idea. Great to point out the feature is there, but to gamify it? I dunno about that…

While your post count isn’t clearly visible outside of your profile page, I’d still think contribution based ones would be great.
There is the “Receive x number of likes on a post or topic, but they’re rather generic”
Have some that are based on point count like “Top Contributor” or “Active Savior”…something a bit more game-like and game related. Then tie in the likes and some badges based on total # of likes, not just ones on a single topic. It really doesn’t mean anything that someone made a post with 25 likes, but it’s quite awesome for someone to achieve a badge for getting 100 overall likes.
Then there is the trust level portion as well, which to my best knowledge, is only tied in with inviting people to the community.
That should definitely be addressed too, because while I would like to remain an active member of the community, I don’t have anyone I’d like to invite on here. So because of that I’d remain a “basic member”?
Lots of stuff to work through as the community grows, but some food for thought for the admin team at least = )

where have you read up on the game, i havent been able to find much research on the game
