Inspite the fact IMC allowed most of you to have the opportunity I see alot of whining an complaining instead of seeing more suggestions an bug rant’s to make the game better sure everyone has ideas an builds an all that but whining doesn’t help the community now does it? Anyway I just wanted to say thanks to Imc so a second test, a 2 time xp boost to catch up for people who school an work which is fairly considerate so I greatly appreciate what they’ve done they dealt with drama rather nicely as well as other thing’s as for feedback an suggestions an praise feel free to list all that be known hence acknowledge one’s hard effort’s cause afterall they didn’t have to do all this but they did.

These last days i’ve been thinking… and i came up with the idea that there’s something wrong with the community. No i don’t mean to say that people that are part of this community are wrong, what i think is that unluckily ToS is a game that’ll have serious problem community wise because of it’s target audience.
Let me explain better: ToS playerbase will probably be composed by two very different “branches”.
We have the old RO players, at this point in time probably 30+ in age, plus some old mmo veteran looking for some “Old school” mechanic done right. SO basically we’re talking about grown up people that has seen a lot of mmos in the years.
Then we have the teens that come to ToS because of the shining anime graphic and the disco music, i’d say 12+ in age, that has seen very few mmos launched, didn’t see how mmos evolved in time etc etc
So beeing ToS directed to people beeing of completely different age ranges i think it’s almost impossible for everyone to get along fine and at times even to understand each other.
that’ll create rage and frustration inside and outside the game and, i think, this frustration probably will be “trown” on IMC and the game itself most of the time.
That beeing said, people that have seen more of the mmo “world” during the years know already how a game launch goes, probably even remember how some etremly famous games launches still are remembered as the “worst in mmo’s history” by many people (FFXIV, WoW), and will probably give suggestions in a cool way and enjoy the game mechanic more.
Others tho will just complain because they’re probably used to get into a game when it’s already done and will complain about the mechanics.
The two parts will collide
Flame will rise again.
It’ll be an endless cicle.

AHAH yeah well, now i’0m wondering why this post appeared under the “new” tab of the forum ahah
It is probably more closer to 20 (+/- 4) range. They can produce somewhat good arguments and discussions, so they probably aren’t exactly around 12. However, a lot of the things they complain about are things we discussed in extreme detail for the last 15-20 years.
